Left Behind: What You Can Do to Live

Because the Rapture may be more imminent than ever, and since so many of our loved ones will be left behind to wonder what has happened to us pondering what dark future awaits them in the aftermath, I will be running all this Feast of Trumpets week a message of hope. This message explains why millions suddenly and mysteriously disappeared and will give them answers to what has happened. It is our “left behind” message, and my prayers should we be departing really soon that it brings people to Jesus Christ.

This third segment of our “left behind” message will explain what those who weren’t raptured can do to survive. It’s also available in video below.

What You Can Do to Live

Now, you may be asking “God, why didn’t you tell us all this before the Rapture so we could get ready.” Well, He did. The Bible clearly teaches that God never pours out His wrath without warning for He is a just and loving God who does not wish that any should perish. That is why God provided the Bible, the Good News about Jesus spreading across the planet, and the many signs alerting us to the fact that we were living on the threshold of the Tribulation and soon return of Jesus Christ. God gave the world every possible chance for 2000 years to repent of its rebellion and return to Him.

But, it’s not too late for you to be with Jesus unless you’ve taken the mark. You see, this story has a happy ending. Jesus’ return at the end of the Tribulation means great joy to those who love him. Jesus will cleanse the world of evil and the damages from His wrath and restore the planet to pristine condition. Jesus will rule from Jerusalem over those who throughout human history have put their faith and trust in Him (Revelation 20:4-6,9).

You can be one of those people. Whether you die in the Tribulation or not, it is where you end up eternally that truly matters. Everybody who does not accept Jesus as Savior during the Tribulation will go to Hell for their rebellion. Anyone who accepts Jesus as Savior, though their earthly bodies may die during the Tribulation, will then live forever in glorified bodies with Jesus in His love and glory.

Remember Jesus’ promise in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” Pray now for forgiveness for your sins and ask Jesus to be the Savior and Lord of your life. Don’t delay!

In what little time you have in this life, get a Bible or download one from Bible.org, so you know God’s will for your life. Download this and everything you can from our website at lamblion.com or others like raptureready.com so you can know more about Jesus and what is in store for you in the Tribulation and the glorious return of Jesus. Gather quickly with others who have accepted Jesus as Savior for support and to worship together.

And finally, equip yourself with these key articles. The Rapture may have started this tragic series of events, but there are many more world changing events coming that you have to be ready for.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, we will be waiting for you on the other side of this. May God bless you and keep you. Maranatha!

“The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.” (Nahum 1:7)

The last segment of this “left behind” message presents a copy of what The Christ in Prophecy Journal’s final message will display after the Rapture occurs. It’s titled “Did Many People Disappear?”

  • Hello Nathan,

Seeing how you feel "change is coming," I was wondering what you thought of the articles I found through your site…

    http://www.rap-con.com/forum/daniels-70-weeks-new-timeline

I think there is another one giving more details about the year of the rapture being 2011. What do you think about the reasoning there? Or do you have any thoughts about it in general? I'd love to hear what you have to say.

I feel like I should quit school and start telling people to hurry up and repent with all this rapture talk!

    Thanks,

    Anon Dan

  • First, I love your website and the news info. However, this constant message of the rapture is the biggest trick being taught. The word rapture is "raphere" in the greek…meaning capture or to seize..the rapture of the church! Which, is already happening right now…the church is being taken over. The rapture philosophy wasnt created until about 1840…never mentioned in the bible. The bible CLEARLY states that Jesus comes here once…not twice. Jesus did not put Christians here to be a bunch of wimps and "fly away" to escape the trouble…you are meant to stand and teach and help! When the bible says you will "escape all these things", it is talking about spiritually escaping…in other words you will not be harmed spiritually. DONT BELIEVE THE RAPTURE LIE because you will fall into a trap…"If they say he is in the desert, go not forth"..book of Matt. It's like when fisherman fish for tuna..they don't hunt for each individual tuna…they set bait and the tuna will come into the net. What a better way to collect Christians than that…set a rapture net lie and they will show up. You are supposed to put on your spiritual armour and stand…otherwise, who would help the rest? Wake up! The rapture is a trick!

Bwaaaaaaaa haaaaaa haaaa ha!! [DrNofog climbing back up in his chair, wiping the tears from his eyes…]

I see yer another late comer to that old party, showing up w/o having done *ANY* independent research of your own and then parroting someone elses historical buffoonery that has been refuted time and again!!

Pre-Tribulation Rapture view is not new.

"When the chains of allegorical interpretation began to fall off beginning with the Reformation in the 1400 and 1500s, writers such as Joseph Mede (1586-1638), Increase Mather (1639-1723), Peter Jurieu (1687), Philip Doddridge (1738), John Gill (1748), James Macknight (1763), Thomas Scott (1792) and Morgan Edwards (1722-1795) all wrote concerning the Rapture occurring separate from the Second Coming…"

    Scott said…
"…one of the reasons I am so passionately pre-trib – because the rebuttals,( such as MacPherson's books which are so ridiculous – to the point of being intellectually insulting) – are so lame, as contrasted to the scholarly efforts by authors as Pentecost, Walvoord, Showerss … The contrast is like comparing a 4th grade attempt vs a graduate level writing…"

"…I have NEVER seen Gundry or MacPherson take a line – by – line approach to the vast array of pre-trib scriptures…"

Then again, most "Anons" that come in wif dis are just 'hit & run' rock throwers, and aren't up for serious debate.

  • The Bible teaches about the Rapture of the Church. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 speaks of an event called "the Rapture", Latin "rapio," Greek "harpazo," which means "to catch up, to snatch away, or to take out." "After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." Paul states that the concept of the Rapture is meant to encourage believers during this Age (1 Thes. 4:18). Other references on the Rapture are Isa. 26:19-21; Mal. 3:17; Jn. 14:1-14; I Cor. 15:51-58; and 1 Thes. 4:13-18.

There will be a Rapture because the Church isn't destined to endure God's judgment on the world, as promised in 1 Thes. 1:10; 5:9; Rom. 5:9; Eph. 5:6; Col. 3:4; and Rev. 3:10.

A common though mistaken argument made against the Pre-Tribulation Rapture view is that the view originated with John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) who took the idea from a 15 year old girl named Margaret MacDonald. For why this is historically inaccurate, see this article.

For evidences on the Bible's teaching about the Rapture, please check out these articles on our website here and here. Or, if you prefer to watch, we have a 4-part series on the proofs of the Rapture.

  • Anon,

Call me a wimp, an escapist, a coward, anything you want. I WANT TO BE RAPTURED!

What Christian would NOT want to escape death and the tribulation and meet our Lord and be with our loved ones that have passed on and celebrate in Heaven and begin our eternal lives in our transformed bodies?

Come Lord Jesus! I'm watching for your return! Praise the Lord!

  • Hello Billy
AMEN! You and me both! After all it was Jesus Himself who used the term ‘ESCAPE’.

Luke 21:36. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

When this world sinks; Captain Satan will go down with it and all those ‘sailing with him’. The Pre-trib Rapture is the ESCAPE as Christ’s own are snatched away before the S.S. Satanic is driven onto the rocks by the coming storm.

    MARANATHA!

  • Interesting how everyone assumes people will have computers and this Web site post-rapture. If things get as bad as predicted, I foresee this site going away–possibly even before we're outta here.

But since that's the main avenue you have, well . . . shrug!
