Homosexuality as an End Times Sign: The Age of Noah

PDF

One of the many signs that we are living in the end times is the epidemic of homosexuality that is sweeping the world today.

Jesus said He would return at a time when society resembled “the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37). The Old Testament tells us that in the time of Noah “the earth was corrupt in God’s sight” (Genesis 6:11). The New Testament reveals in stark detail the nature of that corruption.

The Nature of Noah’s Age

The description of Noah’s society is found in chapter one of Romans. Paul writes that the society was characterized first of all by the rejection of God and the worship of Man (Romans 1:18-25). Because of this stubborn and foolish rejection of their Creator, God “gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity,” and there was an outbreak of sexual immorality (Romans 1:24).

From the Supreme Court of Heaven

When they still refused to repent, God “gave them over to degrading passions,” and there followed an epidemic of homosexuality in which “women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural” and men likewise “abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another” (Romans 1:26-27).

Notice the progression here. Man begins to worship himself, his own knowledge and cleverness. As Man begins to worship himself, God is set aside, together with His moral laws. The result is an outbreak of sexual immorality. This leads ultimately to an epidemic of homosexuality, one of the final signs of the moral collapse of any society.

Does this sound familiar? It should. It is a vivid description of the moral decline which the world has experienced in this century. We have gone full circle. The society of Noah has reappeared, and it is characterized by the kind of ungodliness and wickedness which provokes the wrath of God (Romans 1:18).

In the next part of this series on homosexuality as an end times sign, we’ll look at whether or not Jesus and the Bible condemn homosexuality.

  • "An outbreak of sexual immorality".

It's an unpleasant pattern that follows in the wake of all cults. This can be kept 'under wraps' for just so long, but eventually, the truth will out. While true, I find this so 'seedy' and depressing.

    Maranatha – quick!

  • Hello Nathan
Recently I have been shocked to learn that ‘we’ i.e. Bible believing Christians; are being ‘accused’ of being a threat, simply by looking, watching and hoping for the BIBLICALLY prophesied return of Jesus.

Whatever daft brains suppose mere mortals can MAKE Biblical prophecy happen by wanting it?

Of course that theory would fit in with the ‘Positive Confession’ heresy of ‘christian Science’; they can ‘make’ things happen by occult means and their familiar spirits – but no-one can manipulate the plans of our Omnipotent God. He will come when He decides, and when He does…!

    Maranatha – please!

  • Excellent point, Sue! That Christians can make the end times happen by sheer will is the "mind over matter" power that many believe all humans have. It's the same Post-Modern delusion that we can create our own reality and truth based on ourselves as the center of our own universes. We should be flattered that they believe we have that much influence over world events.

Also ironic is that once the Rapture happens, the New Agers will then be rejoicing that we've left so the end times can happen, though as you know they believe we'll no longer be blocking their evolutionary progress.

  • Knowing certain events need to happen…could any individual or group get together if they had the proper resources and power cause these events, thereby causing or clearing the way of prophecy to be fulfilled?

I've thought about that before. My conclusion was absolutely! NOT!

  • Well, this is a "little" disturbing, to say the least…

I wuz doing a little catch-up on "stuff" and I ran across this little tid-bit that the LSM conveniently neglected to mention about the up-coming Emergency Alert Sys unusual, super-long [9 minutes] "test" that's scheduled for "11.9.11"…

E.A.S. WILL NOT SAY "this is a test" = EAS text alert from HQ missing those vital words.

November 9: A Day For Concern?
Things that are scheduled to Happen on November 9, 2011

    1. An asteroid is scheduled to pass by earth.
    2. Comet Elenin is scheduled to pass by earth.
    3. Some planets are going to be in alignment.
    4. Exercise Pacific Wave, a tsunami drill, is scheduled.
    5. FEMA, FCC, NOA to conduct Emergency Alert System (EAS) Test – National shutdown of all TV and radio communications – 2pm.

    Just coincidence?

…for 9 loooong minutes – THAT could cause panic for those who don't know about this!!
    Why?!?
And why 9 mins on 11.9.11?…
    :0

  • We are merely in the process of the "Birth Pangs", the end is not yet! The destruction that you now witness in the form of many natural disasters pales in comparison to that which will ensue during the Tribulation. Thankfully, we are not subject to wrath yet heirs of salvation and the promise of eternal life through Christ our Lord.

Their are many apocalyptic scenario's being put forth on the internet these days claiming the end of all things is upon us. They operate in a "Spirit of Fear", not knowing the scriptures. At times they will seek to even pervert the scriptures to arrive at their agenda, yet we are children of light and of the day, that that day shall not overtake us as a thief. Be at peace my brothers and sisters!

  • Rodney said "…yet we are children of light and of the day, that that day shall not overtake us as a thief. Be at peace my brothers and sisters!"

I agree 100%! We KNOW what is coming and it is NOT for us. We will not be subject to God's wrath. Jesus coming for us in the Rapture ant that is the event WE should be looking for…with anticipation and HOPE!

  • I am so glad you have the gutts to post this when this politically correct, soft on sin world would not say this. Thank you for standing up for the truth! Amen! SO TRUE!

  • THE ONLY REASON I'M POST THIS OFF TOPIC IS SO NO ONE PANICS BASED ON DR.NOFOG'S PREVIOUS POST:

    DrNofog,

This is from the FCC website:

"How long will the test last?

We anticipate that the test will last approximately 30 seconds."

    30 SECONDS – NOT 9 MINUTES

    and

"Although the activation will include an audio message indicating that this is a test, a visual message indicating that “this is a test” may not appear on every television channel, especially for cable subscribers."

THERE WILL BE AUDIO – THE CONCERN IS ONLY FOR HEARING IMPARED PEOPLE.

This should NOT be a big deal and no one should panic over this.

  • Because 'they changed truth to lies and worshiped themselves rather than God'(God 'gave them up to vile affections'Rom. 1:26). However, there are many more 'being filled with all unrighteiousness'
Rom. 1:29. When I read on I saw murder, envy, deceit, backbiters, proud, boasters, evil doings, disobedient to parents, unmerciful etc. These are all actions of the sinful state of man. The days of Noah is the everyday goings-on of the sinful world. Man glorifying self rather than God. I am guilty of many of these sins however I have a Saviour and have repented. My hope is that man stops denying the Divine God and instead denies self. Pray for all to come to repentance and salvation. God Bless!

  • Are we not all sinners? Does God look at the hearts of men or on the outside? Shouldn't we as Christians be praying for all souls whether they be gay, Muslim, non believers, drug addicts, etc?

I do believe it is the end times, and there are signs for all.
Well guess what we need to be on our knees praying for the souls of this world. Not throwing stones and not condemning others. Christ is the only righteous one. There are people out there molesting children, animals, and raping going on and yet all you focus on is homosexuality. You sadden me.

My friend is a gay man yet he loves God more than anything else. his heart is filed with love for all and he followers Christs teachings.

  • Anonymous, homosexuality is like the last stop along the road of rebellion against God, the scriptures indicate those that practice this lifestyle possess a reprobate mind, which means they do not fear the judgement of the Lord and in most cases refuse to repent.

Indeed we are all sinners and have gone astray, there is no sin greater than another, that much is true. Yet my friend, homosexuality is sin that denies the natural order for which a man and woman was created, (Be fruitful and multiply). Adam and Steve can not be fruitful, nor can they multiply, it is the same story for Molly and Sally.

If this friend of yours truly wants to follow Christ, let him repent of his lifestyle and deny himself and take up the cross. It will not be an easy road, like every sin, it has its addictive qualities especially sexual sins. We all have a cross we must bare, we must be willing to carry it, even if daily we must die.

Christ died that we might live, all we have to do is trust in his shed blood as our atonement, and walk with him in newness of life, having put off the old man/woman and become a new creature that does no longer obey the lusts of the flesh yet is led by the Spirit of God.

  • " the last stop along the road of rebellion against God" is denying God and Jesus Christ as Saviour. It is circumcision of the heart not just "circumcision of the flesh," that is needed. Being fruitful and mutlipying is about things in the spirit not just the FLESH. I imploy you to stop looking at the sins of the flesh and look at the sins of the spirit. If a mans heart loves God no matter the sin Jesus' blood is sufficient.

All mans eyes will be open to see their sin we all are blinded by our fleshly sins that harm us spirituallly. We are all sinners in Adam but we are all free of sin in Jesus. .

  • Anon:

The WORD OF GOD (not US)…the WORD OF GOD says:

"Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him."

So, sinners such as prostitutes and homosexuals WILL enter the kingdom of God IF they 1. Belive in Christ AND 2. Repent of their sins.

If they DO NOT repent of their sins they will NOT enter the kingdom of God:

"Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

Again…1. Belive in Jesus. 2. Repent – note above it says some of you WERE these things…NOT ARE these things.

Jesus said go and sin no more. Not keep doing what you are doing. Homosexuals MUST NOT engage in their unnatural activity. Just look at some of those gay pride parades. Or, if you really want to see something…watch the following video to see homosexuals reaction to Christians who came to preach the Word of God to them:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTuqXiHzZtk (WARNING: Explicit language by the homosexuals in the video).

  • As you can see Anon, this applies to ALL of us. We ALL need to repent. Not just homosexuals. I'm not singling them out.

"Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

We are saved ONLY by the blood of Jesus. Don't get me wrong. But we also are told to repent.

Whatever is causing us to stray needs to be overcome and CAN be overcome by faith in Jesus. I pray that your friend can discover this and repent from his sin. That is a prayer that is for all of us. Whatever our sins – adultery, lying, stealing, whatever…

  • Anon said "There are people out there molesting children, animals, and raping going on and yet all you focus on is homosexuality. You sadden me."

Anon…you are soooooo wrong. How long have you visited this site? Just go back and look at all the articles posted on this site. The focus is in no way ALL focused on homosexuality.

I think I remember you came in on a previous discussion of homosexuality. It is YOU that are focused on this, not Lamb and Lion.

To quote the space probe Nomad in an episode of Star Trek: "Non-sequetor. Your facts are uncoordinated."

  • Billy, if we had never written on homosexuality as a sin but just made the slightest mention of it, we'd also be accussed of talking about it TOO much. ANY mention of the Bible saying homosexuality is a sin must be silenced by the pro-gay mob or they'll be reminded that they are living apart from God and still incur His wrath upon them (Jn. 3:36).

Then we've got the Christian enablers who defend homosexuality, literally "loving" these people to Hell. Shame on them.

I'll say it now before the crowds come to this page tomorrow from the e-newsletter – God loves the sinner and has died for them so that when they repent of their sins and ask Jesus to be their Savior they will be able to have victory over their sin addictions and have eternal life. If we didn't say this, our own apathy would also "love" these lost ones to Hell.

A Christian's obligation is to speak up in godly love and warn people that they're going to Hell, but that God provides a lifeline of salvation – Jesus Christ. That's the Gospel.

  • Anonymous said "If a man loves God…"

    Does not equal salvation!

"BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved…" equals Salvation

Loving God and all human life and the animal kingdom does not result in being Justified; for by God’s Grace we are saved through Faith IN Christ as a substitute for our sin – not by ‘loving’ God with human emotions. Eph.2:8

Vs 9 NOT by works of any kind,vs9; and that includes an ability to love with human compassion. It’s a nice trait that even the heathen know how to do but is NOT evidence of being Justified. Just as having the unpleasant trait of being bad tempered is NOT evidence that a person is NOT Justified from sin.

Those who ARE Justified; and ignore God's commands – sin is in the heart "If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear" Psalm 66:18. That is until we acknowledge our denial of the Lord by MISTREPRESENTING what God has plainly written in His Word. We need to repent, a serious change of attitude to fall in line with God’s Holiness, not mans standards.

1John1:9. *IF* we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Which puts us back into FELLOWSHIP with our heavenly Father. If not, then expect Divine discipline to increase steadily until we are willing to confess to the Father that we have fallen short of His Holiness – without which we cannot see God. THIS is ‘stage 2 Salvation called ‘sanctification’ being gradually changed by the Holy Spirit into HIS likeness.

I think hyper Arminianism must be behind the comments of Anonymous? i.e. No matter what we do we remain saved = a license to sin! Romans 6:15-23 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

There are consequences to pay for rebellion against God’s commands both in this life and the one to come. Saved as through fire – suffering extreme loss in the Messianic Kingdom and into Eternity. All believers will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ where their WORKS will be judged BY fire. 1Cor 3:10-15; Romans 14:10; 2Cor.5:10. The un-saved, those who have not believed in Christ to save, will go before the Great White Throne of God to be judged and they themselves will be judged IN fire. Rev.20:11-15.

Jesus plainly stated "*IF* God were your Father, you would love Me…”

    How do we love God?

By obedience to His instructions written in His Word – the Bible.

John 14:15 Jesus said “ *IF* you love Me, keep My commandments…”

  • I will continue to do what God tells me everyday in my heart to love others and to love God. You come at me with stones dont worry I was prepared for it.

you say I am loving them to hell. wow you are very cruel. What do you know what I say before God in my prayers, praying for the souls of all. If anyone comes across this that are gay or maybe atheists let me just say that God loves you and Christ loves you. And when you come to Him and accept Him in your heart His blood is enough. Everyday we falter, everyday we fall, everyday we sin and yes we should follow the narrow path and follow the commandments but Gods love is enough. I love you all though you throw words at me that are hurtful. But dont worry I will keep praying for you and for all. My love doesnt end for all souls and will never end for Christ

  • The greatest of these is love. If you have no love than you judge. If you spend all your time judging others you dont spend enough time loving them. These does not mean that I am loving them to hell it is just showing who Christ is and His love is of compassion, forgiveness, and grace.

  • I am not saying that just because you are saved you can go on sinning. But we are in a sinful state. So we are under God's grace.Just because you are a CHristian and not a homosexual doesnt mean you are not a sinner. You are and so am I.

  • Anon,

This video shows what happens when someone resigns themselves to being gay and accepts it…they reject God.

They KNOW they are doing wrong in the eyes of God and therefore hate those that tell them the truth…that God does not want them to do unnatural behavior that God calls an abomination.

I challenge you to watch the video then come back and tell me…make the assumption that some of the people in the videos may be self proclaimed Christians. Would they enter the kingdom of God?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTuqXiHzZtk (WARNING: Explicit language by the homosexuals in the video).

  • And Anon, I challenge you to watch the video and answer this:

WHY ARE THE HOMOSEXUALS IN THIS VIDEO SO HOSTILE TO PEOPLE PREACHING THE WORD OF GOD???

  • Anonymous, I do not believe it is loving or Christian to accept a sin as part of a Christian's identity. aka accepting a person's label as a Christian homosexual, Christian adulterer etc…. I think that's where the problem is with your assessment.

Repentance is important in that it's a turning over EVERY sin and striving to die to self. Repentance is not the accepting your sins and making them part of your Christian identity. You do yourself and others a disservice by allowing someone to embrace a sin as part of their walk with Christ.

We are to turn ALL of our sins over to Jesus. He will forgive them. We need to encourage people to renew their hearts and mind with God's help, not accept things that will hurt us and those around us.

One part of the Biblical admonition of love found in first Corinthians that so many overlook today is found in 1Corinthians 13:6. "Love does not delight in evil BUT rejoices with the truth." We MUST take the whole counsel of God. Not just the parts that are Warm and fuzzy.

  • They are hostile because they dont feel any love. Not reflection on all homosexuals. There will be many homosexuals that wont come to Christ because of the fear of your hate. So these people are hostile? Indeed they are. But what do we do as Christians we do not retaliate with judgement that is up to God. Though it isnt wrong to show the errors of their way but it is not our job. We are not the judgers. Say I was a Nun but I turned away a homosexual who needed compassion just because he was once hostile towards Jesus's teachings. No Christ would say open the door let
them in and than healing can begin with Christ. Go read the poster Lily who posted on Tuesday which is todays blog. She put scripture about forgiveness from Matthew.

  • Anon said "They are hostile because they dont feel any love."

Anon…you are RIDICULOUS! Are you SURE you are a Christian?

The Christians in that video were trying to bring the souls of those homosexuals to salvation through Jesus and you say that is not love???!!!

Nathan is right. People like you are loving homosexuals straight to hell!

And a correction…the people in that video weren't hostile, they were vulgar and evil!

  • Dear DianefromKy

Jesus loved us enough to die for our sins-this was not an act of acceptance of our sin it was LOVE.

Jesus died for us when we were sinners, He loved us when we were sinners. We love others though they are sinners this is not ACCEPTANCE OF SIN. IT IS LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. And more LOVE.

  • Dear Billy
I was not talking about the Christians being HOSTILE. The people yelling at the CHristians were hostile and they dont have love. Wasnt even talking about the Christians. BILLY come on.

I am not accusing you of not being a CHristian Billy but you are accusing me. I Love Jesus more than anything in this world or universe. I would die without Him. Thank you for your judgement. Oh Billy.

  • Billy why did you ask me if they were hostile but now you are saying they weren't? I'm a bit confused. I answered your question and you didnt like my answer and than you start to question me about being a Christian.

  • I was waiting for the word "hate" to inevitably come up.

Because a Christian loves a sinner, say a homosexual, enough to warn them that their rejection of God will destroy them eternally and their chosen lifestyle is killing their body… then naturally we must hate them. Really?!? Truly selfless, agape love means rescuing a person when they are in mortal danger despite the harm that may befall you. That's what Christ did on the cross to the point of death.

Accusations of hate are meant only to cow a person one disagrees with.

Sadly, when one has lacked God's love all of their life, they really don't know what real love is, and both words end up becoming horribly redefined and abused.

  • I have often wondered how the Post-Modern, liberal church, understands God's Word! Now I know for sure – they don't!

Nathan and Billy are guilty of declaring openly, at risk of verbal stoning, exactly what GOD says about ALL sin – in particular, Sodomy which *HE* describes as an 'abomination' meaning something detestable. As God is the creator of mankind; He is the Potter that moulded the clay – and in arrogant ignorance of God’s own Word, the ‘clay’ objects to what The Potter has said about His own workmanship. What a nerve! Defying Omnipotent God is really asking for trouble with a capital ‘T’.

This sickly false love has become rife! It is as much an abomination as sin itself. Love, love, love – sang the Hindu Beetles – love, love, love echo the syncretism of the latter day church. WHAT has Christ to do with Belial or Light with darkness – absolutely NOTHING; but like witches on the blasted heath they blend together a concoction of Eastern religion philosophy with the very Word of God and end up with toil and trouble for the people they warmly love to Eternal Death. Instead of being a LIGHT; they leave sinners in the dark all loved up, but still dead in sin. Instead of being SALT; they have lost their seasoning and are fit only to salt icy roads.

DON’T tell sinners the TRUTH; that is too harsh, it will hurt their feelings and frighten them; we must love them OUR way, not GOD’S WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE which is to bring ALL sinners to Faith IN Christ Jesus so that they may receive ETERNAL LIFE through God’s Grace the FREE gift of Salvation by faith.

What is faith? It isn’t mystical, touchy, feely emotionalism; faith is KNOWLEDGE ASSENT and TRUST. How can any sinner be saved unless they are first TOLD the Gospel message! If they haven’t been told, then they haven’t any KNOWLEDGE of what is being offered to them. Without that knowledge, how can they choose to ASSENT, say YES to Christ and TRUST in Him to save them from sin.

Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17. It takes genuine AGAPE Love to save a sinner; not philio, brotherly love – because until they are saved, they are NOT brothers because their father is still the devil. Or to leave those who are saved wallowing in their mire; excusing them by this passive, ineffective love that reassures and lulls instead of challenging to REPENTANCE to restore fellowship with Father in the present, and rewards for their future reign with Christ.

    Nathan and Billy!
Matt5:11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you FALSLEY for My sake.
    12. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

  • Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8

Be Kind to One Another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you Written by C.S. Lewis

2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

This is to all who are acting like the judge. Nathan, Billy, DianefromKy, etc. I am quite shocked by you Nathan a preacher who told someone that by them loving these people their love was sending them to hell.

  • Tiffany Marie, is that your final judgment? that we are being Judgmental?

God's mercy, grace, and love did not come cheap. It cost Jesus his life. The least I can do is risk being labeled "judgmental" by the Judgement police in proclaiming truth.

    DianefromKY

  • E.I.

Your first line was great – it made me think that this is a sneak peek of what Christians in the Tribulation will be facing – except to the hundreth degree!

Thanks for your words of support.

God bless, a hug and a whole lot of that Christian love.

  • Tiffany Marie

If you want to brandish the Sword of the Spirit; may I suggest you learn about CONTEXT first so you don't do yourself even more damage.

Yes indeed; Nathan IS a preacher – of the Truth of God's Word and his assessment of 'loving' a person all the way to hell is a seriously, valid criticism. You would do well to listen to him instead of your own faulty exegesis in future.

I am disappointed you didn't add me to your list in your own judgmental diatribe. I sincerely hope that I am also worthy to be pilloried by their sides for daring to speak in these days of the burgeoning Apostate church.

    Maranatha!

God bless you too Billy – Nathan too. (((Hugs)))

"Well done thou good and faithful servant"!

  • E.I., yours is truly the language that birthed Shakespeare. I've always been impressed how you can so easily flow from eloquent to slang as needed. Always a joy to read, and theologically correct as well.

  • Many quote the scripture for "as in the days of Noah," when speaking on this topic, but fewer quote Luke 17: 28 and following – "It was the same in the days of Lot…." It's as though Jesus is saying "In case you didn't get it the first time, disciples, I'm going to repeat it ." (the principle of saying things twice for emphasis – truly, truly, verily, verily).

What was the MAIN characteristic of the days of Lot? Rampant, agressive homosexuality. The Days of Noah may be less specific in that regard, but it can't be mistaken in the account of Lot's experiences.

  • Hello Nathan

Thank you so much for your encouragement; that means a great deal to me. Writing has been the means of communication that The Lord has chosen to give to me. Just like I have blue eyes, it is a part of me, nothing I have laboured over at all. In conversation I go aaalll arrround the houses to get my point over, writing is so much quicker. 🙂

More than anything I am grateful for what you call my ‘theology’ – although I still have so much more to learn. Life’s circumstances have had me all on my own to get fed. Like Elijah was fed by the Raven’s, that is how The Lord has provided for me over the decades. In the churches or fellowships available to me, I always felt I was dying from spiritual hunger; so The Holy Spirit has always been my provider and guide. He has given me a ravenous appetite for His Word, so it appears I haven’t lost out by not having a Pastor/Teacher physically available. I am so very thankful to The Lord for His Manna; it’s delicious!

If anyone reading this is surrounded by people and yet alone in The Lord and have no Biblical sustenance. Ask of The Lord for His Food and Drink and it will be given unto you, pressed down, shaken together and running over! He always finds a way when there is no way – He is amazing and so generous.

Programme your mind with God’s Word in The Bible just like a computer; then in life, The Holy Spirit will press the right ‘key’s and bring to your memory what He wants to know. Open the pages of the Bread of Life and consume it every day as often as possible. Read (or listen) mark and learn to KNOW The Truth and The Truth will set you free.

The Word is who Jesus is John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” To know The Word, is to know Jesus. The Bible is His love letter to each one of us.

Lamb & Lion is an excellent place to begin to absorb Jesus’ teaching.

    God bless

  • Wow just came across this. Mny of you leave a bitter taste on my tongue. Billy why did you say are you sure you are a Christian?

Did Christ say we can pick and choose who can come to Him?

No. Just because these people are saying to love the homosexuals doesn't meant they are condoning that lifestyle or saying that accept the sin. They are only saying to love but some of you seem to jump down and I am not saying you hate them but with what you say makes me assume you are highly homophobic. You seem full of pride.

What do you think God cares more about? Our love for all! And loving them is not accepting their sin. This website breaks my heart especially some of your comments. When that anon goes before God do you think God is going to say your love for others sent people to hell? NO! He said you loved them and prayed for them to find me and that is what God wants us to do.

Jesus drew the line in the sand saying that anyone without sin can throw the first stone at Mary the prostitute. are we not tot turn the other cheek, are we not to love all which does not mean acceptance of their sin. I have never been to this website before I found it so randomly and God said go in go in I saw all the notes about homosexuality and I said no I don't want to read that and read comments like this but He said go in and read and comment and so here I am.

  • There's that word "homophobic" again. Another word meant to quiet any opposition.

Excellent point, Kevan, about Jesus' mercy to the adulteress Mary. But, was Jesus always that soft on sin? Didn't Jesus drive the money changers out of the Temple with a whip made out of cords for their greed and dishonor towards God (Jn. 2:15)? Doesn't Revelation 19:13 tell us that Jesus' robe will be covered in the blood from the enemies He Himself will destroy upon His Second Coming? And, doesn't Jesus as judge finally send to the Lake of Fire everyone who ever rejected His salvation (Rev. 20:11-15)?

Yes, Jesus forgave Mary, but He also told her to "go now and leave your life of sin" (Jn. 8:11). According to Jesus' own words and requirements, we must leave our life of sin upon accepting Him as our Savior. To do otherwise leaves us under God's wrath and final judgment to Hell (Jn. 3:36)

For those of you who advocate love alone shown to someone trapped in a painful sin lifestyle, do you also share with them that the consequences of that choice is Hell? To not do so or to tell anyone otherwise is clearly to "love" them straight to Hell. That's the reality of it.

  • Well, judging from the comments, I'd say that this truly confirms everything Dr.Reagan has said in this series linking homosexuality to the End-Times, and especially Lame-stream "Christianity" falling down on the job, enabling the spread of perversion by apathy, "tolerance", and "love"!!

Had this been any other topic such as adultery, pornography, alcoholism, drugs… …need I say more!!!

  • Billy,
Sorry about the EAS timing -it was a flop anyway…

I apparently transposed the date '9' for the official time of 3 to 4 minutes as of Oct.31.11, and confused even my very own self…

30 seconds is boringly long enough, but 3mins would have seemed like eternity and would have freaked people out…

However, in reviewing Dutchsinse's video [posted Nov.4] and other sources, including Glen Beck, I had missed the audio where Dutch said "…the recently updated Gov. website…", which showed that 'they' had succumbed to intense pressure from broadcasters over that inordinate amount of time and changed it back to the standard 30sec.

Posted: 9:33 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 Federal officials have been trying to get word out about the test for months but are still concerned that the some members of the public could mistake it for a genuine emergency alert.

They have been working with organizations supporting the deaf community, for example, to try to ensure that television and cable broadcasters offer a visual cue informing viewers that the interruption is only a test. But not all stations could guarantee they could broadcast a visual explanation, an FCC spokeswoman said.

So just last week, to try to minimize confusion, the government announced that it would scale back its planned three-minute test to just 30 seconds – long enough to diagnose any problems in the system.

Monday, October 24, 2011 The diagnostic test, will in effect, be a total communication blackout. The FCC is vague about how long the TV and radio broadcasts will be off the air.
“We anticipate that the test will last approximately three minutes,” the Commission states on its website.

“While state and local EAS messages are limited to two minutes, there is no time limit for national EAS alerts”.

Three minutes is not an eternity for those at home cut off from television and radio reception, but out on the highways and freeways, it can be problematic.

Posted on October 24, 2011 Glenn Weighs in on Nov. 9th Emergency Broadcast Test

"…the first-ever national test of the Emergency Alert System, where radio and televised broadcasts across the country will be disrupted for roughly…three-and-half minutes…"

Posted October 30, 2011 On November 9th, at 2 pm EST, the government will seize the airwaves in America for 3 1/2 minutes

—>I had 'intended' to post a correction right after yer post, but you know,…the road to "the Theological place of Eternal Torment" is paved with good intentions…

[PS. I always liked that wording – came from a biz card with their definition of "Tact": Inviting someone to the Theological place of Eternal Torment in such a fashion that they actually look forward to the trip"]…
[EI hasn't quite perfected that skill yet, but I think she's getting closer.]
    ;-D

  • Kevan,

The CONTEXT of my "are you sure you are a Christian comment" was in reaction to Anon saying that the Christians who were verbally abused by the homosexuals in the video I referenced were not showing the homosexuals any love.

Ridiculous! They were showing them the ultimate love – that Jesus died for their sins and they need to believe in him and repent. That IS love.

Anon was implying bringing the Word of God (meaning the truth – they need the blood of Christ, they need to repent and stop engaging in homosexuality) was not showing them love.

That was the context of my statement. I was doubting that a Christian would say evangelism is not showing love.

  • Kevan,

You claim I am homophobic. Yes, I am! I am also rapephobic, murderphobic, adulteryphobic, lyingphobic, stealingphobic, hatingphobic, pornographyphobic, etc.

Any behavior that God conisders a sin is something I want no part of. In that context, I am "phobic" of many things.

Of course, I am not perfect. I am a sinner that deserves eternal flames of hell. But thank the Lord I am a forgiven sinner because I believe in Christ. I am not trying to keep others FROM Christ, I want to bring others TO Christ. Just because I have lied, stolen, hated, etc. doesn't mean I can't speak out against such things. And any time I may be sinning, well by God I WANT my fellow Christians to put me straight if needed. I don't want them to tolerate my actions. Or say it's okay, we love you. I want them to say stop what you are doing! That is how they would show me love, not by excusing or ignoring my actions.
