Investigating the Great Sign of Revelation 12

The Great Sign of Revelation 12

Few people know that long before I graduated from Bible College and eventually ordained as a minister, I dreamt of becoming an astronaut. Fueled by the limitless imaginations from popular science fiction, many a late night I’d stare up at the twinkling stars and dream big dreams that one day I would finally reach one of those distant lights.

Looking up at the stars has gotten a lot easier due to the newest Astronomy software called Stellarium. This amazing program actually calculates and then maps out the locations in the sky of all the stars past, present, and future over thousands of years.

As amazing as this software is to amateur astronomers, some Bible teachers believe Stellarium’s projections can be utilized in the study of Eschatology, unlocking the unsolved mysteries of Bible prophecy, especially those concerning the end times signs in the sky.

For example, researcher Frederick Larson utilized this fantastic tool in building his interpretation of the identity of the Star of Bethlehem. Others, such as Pastors John Hagee and Mark Biltz, utilized Stellarium’s projections in their Blood Moon research.

And today, new researchers including Scott Clarke of ERF Ministries, Kade Hawkins of Prophecy News Watch, and geologist Phil Moser have pushed Stellarium’s insights into a whole new direction, believing they have found yet another remarkable discovery. They call it “The Great Sign of Revelation 12.”

Google “The Great Sign” and you’ll encounter one of the hottest trending topics of 2017. Search results report this sign as “one of the most monumental signs in the history of Christianity” and “the biggest debate in prophecy.” Bold claims! And what’s so great about this Great Sign? Supposedly, a unique alignment of stars will tell the story of Jesus Christ’s return to rapture up His Church.

The Gospel in the Stars

The Magi of Matthew 2, who studied the alignment of the stars and constellations, gaped up at the “star in the East” and concluded correctly that the prophesied birth of the Messiah had finally arrived.

Likewise, the amateur astronomers of today also stare up at the constellations and believe they have discovered the story of the Messiah’s return being played out like a Gospel in the stars. They are so excited by Stellarium’s findings that they claim humanity teeters on the cusp of God rolling out some of the most astounding series of prophetic events in all of human history.

Speculations run wild that maybe the Great Sign pinpoints when the Church gets raptured away, or the Tribulation begins, or maybe the War of Gog-Magog wages, or even Damascus explodes, or a combination thereof. All theories lie on the table, though the most prominently held view theorizes the event will be the soon Rapture of the Church.

When looking up at the sky, what do these modern day magi think they are witnessing? They see Revelation 12:1-6 being playing out, which reads:

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth… And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there 1,260 days.

Those who study Bible prophecy know that Revelation 12 stands out as a crucial prophetic chapter because it portrays a major theme of the Bible — the spiritual war between God and Satan. The traditional interpretation of Revelation 12’s symbols can be derived from other passages.

The imagery is taken directly from Joseph’s dream in Genesis 37. The Woman is Israel, who birthed the male Child — the Messiah. The Dragon, Satan, tried to “devour” Jesus using Herod’s slaughter of the babies of Bethlehem. But, the male Child ascended to God’s throne where He waits to return to earth and “rule the nations with a rod of iron” during His Millennial Kingdom.

Adherents of the Great Sign share that traditional interpretation of the symbols up to a point, but for the Child. They swap Jesus with the Church. It is the Church, and not Christ, who will be caught up to God and His throne. And there’s a date — September 23, 2017.

It is the very day when the constellation Virgo (a virgin woman clothed with the sun) will have at her feet the moon. The nine stars of the constellation Leo plus the three planets Mercury, Venus, and Mars will align atop her head (on her head a garland of twelve stars). The “king” planet Jupiter (the Child) will end its nine months circling within Virgo and finally exit east past her feet (she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth) and be carried away (i.e. raptured).

The Paradox

Reading through the copious online writings of Great Sign adherents, including Phil Moser’s book The Revelation 12 Sign, one cannot help but be struck by their passion for biblical authenticity and desire for the salvation of the lost. I did not encounter one researcher of the Great Sign whose heart was not earnestly seeking the truth.

But, they all struggled with a biblical paradox: the Bible’s forbidding of astrology (Leviticus 19:26-28,31; 20:6; and Isaiah 47:13) versus Jesus commanding Christians to be watchful of the signs in the heavens that herald His Second Coming (Matthew 24:29-31,44).

To unravel this paradox, adherents decry the Astrology accusation and defend the Great Sign as purely Astronomy. Supporters point out how God uses Astronomy to convey important messages. God commanded on Day 4 of the Creation, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years” (Genesis 1:14). Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, King David proclaimed, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge” (Psalm 19:1-5).

Not just the sun, moon and stars, but God paraded the constellations to Job (Job 38:31-33). Job learned of Orion, Pleiades and Arcturus, which are all names of clusters of stars found in the Zodiac. God asks Job if he can bring out the Mazzaroth in its season, which is the Hebrew word for the constellations of the Zodiac. Therefore, it is argued that the stars must have functioned as a tool for the faithful of the Antediluvian age, along with oral tradition, in communicating God’s fundamental truths long before Moses ever wrote the Pentateuch. In other words, God wrote His Gospel in the stars of the Zodiac.

Satan is accused of having corrupted God’s Zodiac with cultic Astrology and its practice of divination, which the faithful are prohibited from engaging. With Astrology properly denounced, the Great Sign is defended as the return to what God originally intended when Christ pointed Christians to the sky to be watchful for a heavenly sign. Paradox resolved, supposedly.

The Problems

Three primary problems immediately come to mind with the Great Sign functioning as a true indicator for pinpointing the Rapture of the Church happening on September 23, 2017.

First, adherents correctly interpret the Woman as Israel and the Dragon as Satan, but ignore the plain sense interpretation of the Revelation 12 Child being Jesus Christ, and instead misidentify the Child as the Church. Israel gave birth to the Church? The Church ascends to Heaven on her own? The Church rules the Millennial Kingdom with a rod of iron? While these could technically be argued, the Church remains an echo of the Messiah’s achievements. Many defenses have been given as to why the Child is believed to be the Church, but the interpretation struggles mightily to switch the two. The historical understanding of the Child being Jesus Christ resounds as the plain sense meaning, while the Church strains logic.

Second, Revelation 12 marks the midpoint of the seven-year Tribulation, when God supernaturally begins protecting Israel in the wilderness from the Antichrist’s wrath for the remaining specific 1,260 days. The Church raptured away some 3.5 years earlier dates long before the Jews flee into the wilderness. Revelation 12 cannot then happen as a sign marking the date of the Pre-Trib Rapture, or even in kicking off the entire seven years of the Tribulation, because 3.5 plus years of prophetic events must happen before the Jews flee.

And third, despite their call for doctrinal soundness, the Great Sign adherents’ various writings are steeped in sensationalist extra-biblical prophetic jargon such as Bible codes, Rapture dreams, September 23rd showing up in movie scripts, the rabbinic writings of Judah Ben Samuel, blood moons, numerology, Strong’s numbers tied to days, the Blue Beam Project, NASA conspiracies to hide Planet X, and astronomical alignments with the Great Pyramid of Giza. The list scrolls mind-numbingly on! Whatever reputability the Great Sign may have is buried in the Outer Limits, and not the Bible.

The Concession

I must concede one thing — the timing of the Great Sign is intriguing. The year 2017 intersects with some very curious anniversaries: 100 years since the Balfour Declaration, 70 years since the UN resolution allowing Israel statehood, and 50 years since Israel recaptured Jerusalem. Plus, the Feast of Trumpets — the Jewish New Year’s celebration of Rosh Hashanah that many believe points to the Rapture — falls on September 21-22, 2017. The range of days preserves Jesus’ proclamation that nobody can know the specific day or hour of His return (Matthew 24:36,44).

What also makes this gathering of constellations and planets so unusual is that, according to Stellarium, such an arrangement has never fully taken place, or will so ever again. The alignment stands out as unique. And, to add to this most unusual astronomical event, 33 days beforehand on August 21st, a super-rare 2-3 hour long solar eclipse will darken the world.

That the Great Sign actually converges with so many of these important anniversaries, prophetic events, and signs of the end times piques my interest, though not my support. Regardless of the latest date-setting theory for the day of the Rapture, the authenticity of the Great Sign of Revelation 12 will be revealed as either true or false on September 24th. Who wouldn’t hope that on that day we will be celebrating the Bride reunited with Christ? But, I’m not putting any stock in an alignment of stars to reveal that day.

  • Hi Nathan,
I was so hoping you would address the “Great Sign” as I value your educated opinion. I agree completely with you and printed out your message to re-read in the days to come. The whole thing on one hand reminds of the doomsday preachers, but on the other hand I find it very intriguing!

  • “Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there 1,260 days.”

We can also speculate that a tragic event(s) could occur in/to Israel that will force it to “flee” from its standing in world affairs for three and a half years. Why not another three and a half years prior to the start of the seven-year tribulation?

  • I cannot agree with this writer about what he interprets who the “child” in Rev. 12 is. First of all we must know that in Revelation John was given a vision for the future and not anything of the past. This is amply described in Chapter 4 of Revelation. John was told that he would be shown things to come which must take place “after” this. After this means in the future and not in the past. There was no reason for the Lord to show about His birth to John which was in the past. Then the verse 5 it says “the child was CAUGHT UP” to God. Caught up in Greek is harpatzo or rapturo in Latin which means Raptured. Jesus was never caught up or raptured into heaven, but He ascended to heaven as the One who came down from heaven. (John 3:13) The writer asks whether the church would rain with rod of iron? Yes, I too agree this is not the church. But it is not Jesus either. Why do I say so? Someone might argue it is only Jesus who will rule with a rod of iron. I say, No. Its not only Jesus but even His saints would rule with Him with a rod of iron. Read Revelation2:24-27 what John wrote to Thyatira church. “[24] But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. [25] But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. [26] And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: [27] And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.” So it is clear from what Jesus said that even the church or His saints returned from heaven to the earth will rule with Him with a rod of iron. What I understand as the “child” here is the 144,000 male Jewish preachers. We read about them in Revelation chapter 7: “[1] And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. [2] And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, [3] Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. [4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” This argument is more logical than saying the child is Jesus or the church.

    • Nimal, good analysis! But, the Child cannot be the 144,000 because they are witnesses during the Tribulation. They couldn’t witness for God if they were taken up to Heaven at the mid-point of the Tribulation.

      • However Nimal has a good point when we look at the book of Revelation in its entirety, it very briefly covers the past, spends a little more time on what was John ‘s present, and then majors in on that which is to come. Jesus had already been born, walked this earth, been crucified, risen from the dead, ascended and now sits at the right hand of the Father continually interceding for His Bride. That being the case, who then is the ‘child’ – it cannot be a type of Jesus because Revelation 12 is dealing with events which have not yet occurred even in our time. So who is the child?

    • Isaiah 66:7 and Revelation 12 are speaking of the same event. The “man-child” is the New Nation that Zion ( the Bride) spiritually brings forth ( all those who believe in Christ and follow His commands are her children. In Revelation 12 when it speaks of the man-child being taken up to heaven out of the serpents reach, it is referring to the rapture of all who believe in Christ and follow His commands, Zion’s children ( the new nation)
      “Before she goes into labor,
      she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
      she delivers a son.
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen things like this?
Can a country be born in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.

      • Actually, theologians overwhelmingly believe the Child is Jesus Christ who ascended to Heaven. The Church is not present in Revelation 12 and isn’t seen until chapter 19.

  • Nice work, Nathan! I agree that the child is Jesus and not the Church. It’s interesting that so many events are happening on the same day. Many are saying that this is Jubilee year. What do you think, Nathan?

    • Thanks, Kim! Concerning when the next Jubilee Year will be, according to William Whiston’s footnotes to Josephus, 24 B.C. was a Sabbatical year, and 23 B.C. was a Jubilee year. This would mean that A.D. 27 was a Sabbatical year, and A.D. 28 was a Jubilee year. If this is true, then 1977 was a Sabbatical year and 1978 a Jubilee year. Sabbatical years would occur in 1985, 1992, 1999, 2006, 2013, 2020 and 2027, with the next Jubilee in 2028 (http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/holy-days/jubilee-and-the-sabbath-year.html).

“Ask the Rabbi” (http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/513212/jewish/When-is-the-next-Jubilee-year.htm) says the next Year of Jubilee can only occur when all the tribes of Israel are back in their land allotments.

So, a lot of speculation exists as to what year exactly stands as as Jubilee Year. But, all those important dates in modern-day Israel’s history lining up with important biblical numbers sure piques my interest as well.

      • There is one jubilee my beloved and I are celebrating and that is on 24th August 1968 we were married and so we are now into our ‘Jubilee Year’, hallelujah. For a marriage that was destined to fail until Jesus came into it after 7 years this truly is a miracle!

      • Counting the years from Adam would put the next Jubilee in AM 6431 or AD 2050. I discovered that the chronology of the Jewish Masoretic count of years may be based on 1Kings 6:1 that states from the Exodus to the 4th year of Solomon was 480 years, but the Jewish chronology lost some of the years in Egypt, too. For whatever reason Solomon used this number, which could be a Masoretic reference to twelve generations, even so, it does not allow for 653 years of the judges between crossing into the Promised Land and King Saul. I counted the Biblical years from Adam and published my findings on Amazon titled “The 2,466 year-old Calendar Nobody Could See.” The Calendar is Daniel’s seventy sevens of weeks from the end of the Babylonian captivity to the White Throne Judgment. No other chronology goes beyond the captivity.

  • Nathan, I wanted to add my thanks for a very sensible summary of this rather intriguing matter. I also have 2 questions that I hope you could answer. The first is: how long is this astronomical alignment expected to remain before it no longer depicts the Rev 12 ‘sign’? And the second is: what about Rev 12:3-4? Has this been mentioned by those who are caught up in the excitement? Will the dragon appear in the stars as well at this time? It seems to me that the two go together.

    • Good point about the Revelation 12:3-4 Dragon that sweeps a third of the stars from the sky. That’s always been interpreted as Satan and his demons original fall from Heaven. But, you make an excellent point, in that if the constellations truly do portray biblical characters, then where is Satan’s constellation in all of this?

      • Nathan,

Virgo (the woman) and Leo (crown of 12 stars) are two of the three primary Mazzaroth constellations in the prophecy of Revelation 12:1-2.

The third is Draco (the dragon). Draco is to the immediate north of both Virgo and Leo which lie on the ecliptic. This is Revelation 12:3. Notice this dragon is in the form of the Antichrist and his earthly power base of 7 heads with 10 horns. This verse exactly matches Daniel 7:8.

I wrote about this several months ago:

“The signs of Revelation 12 will appear again on 23 September 2017. It now foretells of what is to occur during the very near future of the 70th Week. It is a sign, among all of the other signs which our Lord has given us (Olivet Discourse), which alerts all watchmen to the season we are in. In this second-fold part of the prophecy, the woman is not Mary mother of Christ, but rather it is Israel, the bride of God, the remnant thereof, that God will supernaturally hide from the Beast (Antichrist, Satan-incarnate) in a location to the east of the River Jordan during the final 1,260 days (42 months) of the 70th Week. The twelve stars around her head signify the twelve tribes of remnant Israel, and which we also know will constitute the 144,000 Jewish evangelists who will preach the Gospel in saving the souls of millions of the Saints of the 70th Week. So this sign, this year, announces the fast approach of the 70th Week and the pre-70th Week Harpazo of the bride of Christ who will be found worthy to escape the horrific events of those final seven years.

Notice that the appearance of Satan in both aspects of this prophecy are how he appears ultimately as the Beast, the Antichrist, the little horn who rises up among ten horns who are the modern-day heir of ancient Rome. Satan, who will indwell Antichrist the man, or Satan-incarnate, is pictured in this prophecy in his final Beast form of having seven heads and 10 horns. This must occur in very close proximity to the Harpazo. Virtually all expositors of prophecy that I will pay attention to agree that the bride of Christ is caught up into Heaven in the blink of an eye with Christ, as Satan and his fallen angels cast out of Heaven permanently as the war in Heaven against the Archangel Michael and his faithful angels is lost. Would our Lord remove us from this earth to take us into a Heaven that is experiencing a final war between good and evil? No, I think we arrive there as heaven is rejoicing in verse 12.

We do not know they day or hour, but we know that the coming of the Groom for His bride is close; really, really close!”

  • Hello Nathan,
Grace and peace to you my brother in Christ. Thanks for all you do for Christ and for putting up this article. It was more balanced than others I have seen and that is much appreciated.

Regarding your 3 big points, here are some items I would ask that your prayerfully consider.
    1. Child = Jesus Alone?
John Nelson Darby wrote the following:
“I have no doubt that the “man child” spoken of in the chapter that we have been reading includes the church as well as Christ. But it is Christ that is principally meant, for the church would be nothing without Christ; it would be a body without a head. It is Christ who has been caught up; but the church is included, for whenever He begins to act publicly, even as regards Satan being cast down, He must have His body, His bride, with Him; He must have His brethren, His joint-heirs.”
(Lectures on the Second Coming (London: G. Morrish, 1909), 54. Though published in 1909, these lectures occurred sometime before 1882, the year Darby died.)

    Harry Ironside
“Is there then any incongruity in understanding the man-child to represent both Christ Jesus our Lord and His church? Surely not, for He is the Head of the body, the church, which is the fullness, or completion of Himself, so that the title, “The Church” is applied to both head and body viewed as one in 1 Cor. 12:12. . . . We may then, on the authority of Scripture itself, safely affirm that the man-child represents the one New Man who is to rule the nations with a rod of iron—Christ, the Head, and the church, His body.”
(Harry A. Ironside, Lectures on the Revelation – New York: Loizeaux Brothers, 1919)

There are many others who held this view…. Michael Svigel from DTS did a series of papers on this a few years ago.

    2. Rev 12 only Mid Trib? Read closely, the events in the chapter span the entire 7 years. While the chapter itself is chronological, it covers a wide swath of time. Chapters 11, 13, 14 are the same. They are parenthetical.

    3. Sensationalism? It is not fair to lump all of us together with such a claim. The vast majority of the work on this is done by people who are very balanced. Skeptics like to pick out the most sensational proponents as representatives. I would say a more accurate profile would be Gary and Jeff at Unsealed.org.

Thank you for reading…. One last thing: Look up Micah 5:2-4. Those verses form a timeline of sorts…. Ask yourself what the key indicator is of the change in dispensation.

    Blessing to You
    Brad – Revelation 12 Daily

    • Thank you, Brad! I’m going to look those verses up. Your comment was almost as good as the original article.

    • Excellent post, Brad! I continue to be amazed at Bible teachers that are missing out on the majesty of what God is doing in the heavens. Maranatha!

    • Brad ( Revelation 12 Daily)

Why the Rapture or the Second Coming Will Definitely Not Take Place Between September 21-23 2017
Lord Jesus Christ. Hear Him. Luke 12:40 . You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man WILL COME WHEN LEAST EXPECTED.

If the male child in Revelation 12:5 is the Church being raptured to heaven to later participate at the marriage supper of the Lamb, then how can this MALE also be the BRIDE who has prepared HERSELF at the marriage supper of the Lamb in Revelation 19:7-9?

Can you clear up this apparent contradiction?

  • Thoughtful analysis by the author. I do have some agrees and disagrees which I will share agreeably.

    First, the agrees;

    1. Pinning our hopes on a specific date (for whatever reason) is foolish and irresponsible.
    2. Extra biblical sources should not substitute clear biblical teaching, no matter how compelling.

    The disagrees

    1. The child in Rev 12 is differentiated between huios (masculine) to teknon (neuter) who did not ascend, but was ‘harpazo’d’. From my understanding of Luke 24:51, Jesus was anapherō (carried up, not snatched up) to heaven.

Question, if it was meant to convey Christ here in verse 12:5, why use harpazo if that is not what happened?

    2. The Church is also promised to rule with a ‘rod of iron’ (Rev. 2:26-27). And as Christ is the head, and the Church is the body, it is not inconceivable that we also will rule in some capacity as Scripture portends.

    3. While I agree in the general statement that “no man knows the day or hour,” I also have to balance that with Revelation 3:3 which Jesus holds the Church for knowing the hour of His coming?

I think, in context, that when Jesus explained the Olivet Discourse, He answered truthfully that ‘no man’ knew. At that point of time, in His carnation, this was not revealed yet to Him. (Through willful obedience I mean He limited Himself).

We then see post-Calvary, resurrection, ascension that the Father gave the Son the Revelation of things to come, which is reasonable to believe that Jesus was told the when and how (Rev. 1:1) because He is the (Rev. 1:8).

    4. Revelation 12 is nestled in the middle of Revelation. That does not, however, mean that all the events are nestled snuggly in the middle of the 70th Week. Rev 12 ( like Rev 11) is more of a parenthetical insertion, outlining events in a corporate manner that parallel Christ’s first advent (which were singular). For instance:

The woman singularly was Mary. Corporately she is Israel.
The child singularly was Christ. Corporately “he” is the Church (ie…His body)
The dragon singularly was personified as Herod. Corporately it is Satan and his entities (or the beast system)

Granted, this is speculation on my part, but it is not unreasonable to see it this way.

Again, I thought you did a good job with the article. As we draw nearer to the end, the events pointing toward Christ’s return will keep escalating. I am thankful for people’s enthusiasm, but we must temper that with an abundance of caution.

  • I am searching for the truth, too. I’m reading this with an open mind, but some of the arguments you presented haven’t convinced me. For one, I studied the gospel in the stars years ago and have no problem believing that is true, knowing Satan steals God’s ideas and changes them for his own purposes. Read the book D. James Kennedy wrote bout it. It is not very long or complicated, but it is very good. I believe it is called “The Real Meaning of He Zodiac”.
The word harpazo is used for the catching up of the baby, which means more of a violent snatching from danger than what Jesus did at His ascension.
It is easy to see how the Church is born from Israel, and Jerusalem is called our mother. We wouldn’t be here except for coming through Jesus who was born from Israel. We also are His body. And we will rule with Him with a rod of iron.
The 12th chapter of Revelation reads like a word picture to me. It explains some of the major characters in the tribulation in a picture. So it might not have to be in chronological order, but like an illustration. That is what the sign in the sky also does. But that also comes on a certain date. I think it is a sign, like a road sign that tells you something is coming soon. Or maybe to tell Israel what just happened. That they better read Revelation, maybe to draw attention to it, and the New Testament. I don’t think it means the rapture has to happen on that day. But it could!
The people who are looking into this do have some pretty good scripture to back up what they are saying. I especially like Micah 5:3, and Isaiah 66:6-9. There are others also.
I’d like to have some real scripture from those who don’t believe it to show what they think it means. They have been using opinions more than scripture, I think.
We will all know soon, and hopefully it will be in Heaven, together!

    • An excellent reply, I couldn’t have said it better myself! Don’t forget that astrology glorifies man where the stars in their original form of the mazzaroth glorify God and tell the story of the redemption of man. Setting up a straw man then calling it astrology is not only false but it is lazy. I don’t believe the author even read or studied what these men have put into their work. I was totally against it at first, but after studying and reading, matching it against the Word. I can find no fault, unless anyone starts setting dates for events from the information. I believe this is simply one more signpost and conformation on the path to the start of Daniel’s 70’th week especially if used in conjunction with all other events of the jubilee ect.

    • I wouldn’t climb up on the rooftop on the 22nd but it sure seems like we’re in the season of His return.

    • I gotta say, I wasn’t all that impressed with his ‘research’. I think he’s far too bias to be writing articles or making videos on September 23. I thought your article was much more fair.

    • “Amen.” Nice reference Nathan. I missed this comment previously when I chimed in my 2 cents on the subject. Dr. Faulkner and AiG- “solid.”

  • WOW, my head is spinning. We’ve got to be close. We need the Lord to help us out of this mess. I pray we all remain hopeful that we’ll realize His return real soon.

  • Nathan- well thought out article- however, I don’t think that Sept 24th will be a definitive date to let us know if this was in fact the Revelation 12 sign. Obviously, if we all are raptured on September 23rd then will know for sure. But, if September 23 comes and goes and we are all still here, this star alignment still might be The revelation 12 sign and might be a harbinger. I do find it interesting that Revelation 12 appears to be in the middle of the book of Revelation , after the trumpets judgments. However, since it is a parenthetical chapter and John is describing a vision, then we can’t know with 100% certainty that this is a mid tribulation event.

And, if we are all still here after September 23rd, then I don’t know if we will know, this side of heaven, what this sign exactly is. One other interesting thing is that God is outside of time and, he is not the author of confusion. He knew that we would have this astronomy software and be able to see convergences like this. If this is truly not the sign, then why would he set up the whole situation in the stars like this. He is the creator of all the stars and calls them each by name. And the constellations are referenced in the book of Job . I’m not 100% on board that this is the revelation 12 sign either, but like you I find it very intriguing and will continue to watch all of the signs and events unfold and converge…just like Jesus told us to “watch and pray”!

Thanks for all your hard work and being a watchmen on the wall.

  • Whilst I disagree with the writer on his opinion of born-again, Spirit-filled Christians being into ‘astrology’ we all know that is a ‘no-no’ but astronomy is not and it is astronomy which led the wise men (who were, I am sure, more than three) to Jesus, and astronomically speaking this is an amazing apparent ‘sign’ and we are told we shall see signs in the skies. However, what I do agree with you about is the fact that Revelation 12 occurs more or less halfway through the Great Tribulation and, as the Bride has not been raptured, the peace agreement has not been signed, and there is, as yet, no man of sin revealed – as far as we know for sure. Sign it may be and it is good to explore God’s word and this could encourage some to do so but it is most definitely not a prophetic sign per se, just another warning that the time is short!

  • Thank you for even writing an article about this sign! I’ve been searching for anyone who could, or would, discuss it! I believe it is a SIGN, a warning, reminder, whatever you want to call it, to the people paying attention. We need to be ready, make sure you have plenty of oil for your lamp!
The Youtubers I watch are “Parable of the Vineyard” and Scottie Clarke, they are balanced and telling everyone to “be ready”. Neither one of them claim that we will be raptured on September 23. Although I think everyone I know hopes we will be!
And another thing, the reason I’m writing is I can not find anywhere an explanation for the Blacked out image on Google’s Sky Map!? what the heck is that thing, and why does NASA have nothing about it?
Does anyone know? Can you tell me Nathan? Anything besides the speculation that it’s Planet X or whatever, it’s looking pretty bizarre though, and it’s been blacked out for several years now. Here is a link if you don’t know what I’m talking about:

    https://www.google.com/sky/

After you get to Google Sky, type VIRGO into search bar on upper left, then click “INFRARED” box on the upper right. It looks like an angry pumpkin face, partially hidden by a black box.
    Thanks for your help!

  • Well done, Nathan. Very authoritative article. There is a nice video exploration of this, by the way, by Ron Matson, on his new series, The Forge.

  • Thank you Nathan! You and Dr. Reagan teach, “if it makes sense as written then don’t try to symbolize it” or words to that effect. I’m not implying a direct quote.
I don’t read Rev 12 as a time marker other than it is in Revelation an End Times book. “A great sign appeared in the sky”. Appeared is past tense. I take this to mean that it will appear and be witnessed during the end times. I don’t believe it sets a date but I can believe that as a sign, it will become fulfilled prophecy when it happens. All the more reason I should continue to Look Up.

  • Astrophysicist Danny Faulkner, who is the staff astronomer at Answers in Genesis, explains how the stellar alignment actually is not all that rare, as well as discusses the problems with the 12 stars. Anyone can go to the site to read about September 23, 2017 and many other topics. Are the overall “coincidences” intriguing? Of course, and I will continue to “look up” and listen for the heavenly shout and shofar, especially at the Feast of Yom Teruah.

  • This all makes biblical sense IF you were to forget your pre-trib thoughts. AND make the Church “they” who nourish the Remnant.
    Blessings
    Shalom.

  • We will know soon enough if this is the true rapture date, even if it isn’t it will be very soon. Either way get ready Jesus is coming for his bride and his body will be united with its head. If more people are saved do to this, wonderful, just do not be discouraged if it doesn’t happen.
We will be caught up soon enough. God Bless You All!

  • By personality, upbringing and education, I am not inclined to be dogmatic about any subject. There is more to be known about any topic than any one person can comprehend. I think that applies for what everyone is discussing here, the “Great Sign” of Rev. 12:1. I do not fault any of the comments so far submitted above, as they come from persons who are really seeking a fuller understanding of the meaning and application of this specific prophecy. So am I, and I admit that many of the internet videos (YouTube) that I have been watching are very persuasive – even compelling – in their postulations and conclusions about God’s coming judgments. I hope they are right, as the world is ripe for them. To me, God’s truth is like a huge gem. Some can see perhaps only one facet of it, while others might see and understand a few more; however, none of us can grasp it all – right? As much as we’d like to know JUST WHEN the Lord Jesus will return for us and His final judgments begin, there are still the verses Mt. 24:36, 44 warning us not to get carried away with our end-time prognostications. Only God knows – period! Jesus did tell us – more than 13 times in the N.T. – “to be on the alert” (see Mt. 24:42 for just one of those warnings). So what are we really to do? Well, let me suggest we give heed to the Parable of the Talents in Mt. 25:14-30. Our Lord has given each of us – no exceptions here – one or more “talents” He expects us to employ in His service. Whatever we have discovered them to be, let’s all be sure that we’re using them when He does return. We all will have to account for that at the judgment seat of Christ (Rom 14.10; 2 Cor. 5:10). Aside from longing for His coming (Titus 2:13), my greatest hope is to hear Him say to me, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant” (Mt. 25:41). Praise Him, and “Maranatha” to you all!

  • My friend asked my opinion of your article. I respect Dr. Reagan and have heard him since going to a Tulsa Prophecy Conference in 2002. Here is my response:
He seems to write a semi balanced article, HOWEVER, he has only partially studied what the people who are writing articles and making videos are saying. First, the Child would be the church because Revelation is future and Jesus himself is giving the Revelation to an angel to give to John. How can Jesus be giving the Revelation if it is him being born? We see this in Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
Next, Jesus DID NOT “rapture” immediately to heaven when he was born to get away from Herod. First, he was around 2 years old when the threat of Herod was. Then, he lived a life, died, was buried and rose the 3rd day. This is the most important part that I do not believe would be left out of this account if it was Jesus only. None of this is mentioned in the Revelation 12 account. Then he ascended (people watching him go up) different from being “snatched up/rapture”. Verse 12:5 uses the same term as Thessalonians for rapture. There are similarities, yes, but it cannot be Jesus because he was not threatened by Herod upon coming out of Mary’s womb and wasn’t waiting there (standing before her) Revelation 12:4…and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Next, he says it can’t happen because it is in the middle of the tribulation. Revelation is not chronological. The 11th chapter covers the whole ministry of the 2 witnesses and they start their ministry at the beginning of the tribulation but we don’t hear about them until chapter 11. The same with chapter 12. It covers the entire tribulation in one chapter. Scottie Clarke (and myself included) always thought chapter 12 was mid tribulation. HOWEVER, after finding the sign and what it means, it cannot be mid tribulation.
He questions the church being the child in the article. We are called Christ’s body over and over in scripture. So the child is Christ’s body being born (at the rapture). Also, the church is told in
Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The church ITSELF, will be given the rod of iron (just acct he received from the Father). We rule and reign with Christ.

Hopefully that makes sense. Our preacher is going through Revelation but unless he speeds up to get to Chapter 12 before the 23rd, I don’t know what he will say. The thing is, there is also too much going on BESIDE the sign to get our attention. I believe the rapture will happen sometime between September 19 and 23rd. But, if he doesn’t come back that week, I will still be faithful and look for him. I think the fig tree parable says that it will be this year also, or next year at the latest and the birth pains and sorrows listed in the gospels say we are here. Also, Thessalonians says:

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

September 21st is the UN’s day of peace and their theme this year is basically Peace and Safety. Plus, Trump and Netanyahu are saying those words over and over.

Anyway, I think that week is the highest watch time for the rapture that we have ever seen. The Feast of Trumpets starts around 9:30 Eastern time on either the 19th- 22nd depending on when the sliver of the new moon is spotted. The Jews have always called the Feast of Trumpets the ressurection day. We will see.

  • I highly recommend watching this video https://youtu.be/VNXBAXSPJmo of Scott Clarke from a conference this month. In it he lays out his understanding and the arguments for his understanding of the Rev. 12 Sign. Scottie is the one who first noticed this alignment and has been studying and refining his understanding of the sign. I tend to agree with him that in this sign the child represents the body of Christ, the Church. Personally, I think the sign has a dual representation. On one hand it shows the singular Mary, Jesus, Satan story. On the other it shows the corporate Israel, Body (Church), Devil and his angels. If nothing else this video can help you see where he is coming from. He is a humble man and Christian trying to understand the prophecies before us, like the rest of us.

  • Excuse me, but I just discovered that I should have referenced Mt. 25:21 and NOT Mt. 25:41 in my preceding comment. I’m 74 now, and focus is more challenging than it used to be. Sorry for the confusion.

  • Thank you for sending this article to my e-mail. I just read it and appreciate your sound doctrine; I have been hearing other things, and the part that stood out in my mind, was the date setting. We cannot know the day or the hour. I have heard people say that because of time zones, we cannot know, depending on where we are, but we can know approximately. I truly appreciate what you shared through your article, and just took this moment to tell you.

  • Nathan, Thank you for this well written article. I believe the Great Sign will appear September 21-23, 2017 to mark the “Day of the Lord”. Have you ever researched or commented on the 5993 sign? the5993sign.com – Blessings brother – Rogersings

  • I think that if you’d watch any number of Scott Clarke’s videos, he answers all of the con points you make about the Rev 12 Sign in a way that you won’t be able to argue with.
I recommend finding his latest youtube post (Aug 28, 2017.) It is his speech at a recent prophecy conference in Idaho.
If Rev 12 is mid-trib due to its placement in the book, then Rev 13 is as well. That would place the appearance of the antichrist at mid-trib too…(which is not correct)

  • Oh, my. I’m seeing so much false teaching and prophecy arising, just as it did during the days prior to the Blood Moons season. Thank you for your sober and balanced teaching–especially the part about searching the heavens vs the use of astrology.

Later today, I want to post your article on various Facebook sites.

    Thank you
    Jim Porter

    • I think the term ‘astrology’ is used far too much in this discussion. The secular world has, without a doubt hijacked true astronomy for evil means, and it seems like we can’t even have a genuine discussion on Biblical signs in the heavens without being accused of pushing astrology. There’s no doubt in my mind that God made the stars for signs (because the Bible says so), and I strongly believe that the constellations were originally used to tell the story of God. I think the names we use today are mostly pagan in origin, but the constellations themselves have Biblical significance. God Himself said they were for signs and for season, and he even mentioned a few of the constellations in his preaching! I simply don’t understand how anyone can just ignore the clear signs that God has given us.

  • I really appreciate your balanced approach to the topic, Nathan. Well done! I can’t stand it when so many Bible teachers don’t take the time to explore something with such prophetic significance. Far too many teachers are set in their ways when it comes to Bible prophecy.

That being said, you’re right to say that there is a lot of imagery of Christ’s first coming in Revelation 12 … that’s unmistakable. However, the idea that this is merely a telling of the life of Christ falls apart rather quickly when you examine the passage in more detail. First of all, the passage itself is found in Revelation, so the first question that comes to mind would be: Why is this verse simply telling of the birth of Christ when the birth of Christ [and His ascension] have already happened? Also, if this is merely a retelling of the first coming of Christ, why was it declared to be ‘a great wonder in heaven’? Not only that, but it says that the child was ‘caught up’ (or raptured) into heaven. Christ was not raptured into heaven, he ascended. Lastly, it says that the woman (Israel) fled into the wilderness, which did not happen during the time of Christ’s first coming (nor did the war in heaven, or the dragon being cast down with his angels). This event is clearly meant to take place in the end times. I think you’re right to say that this story is a beautiful reflection of the first coming of Christ, but I believe whole-heartedly that this is speaking of end time events.

We must also be careful not to turn the ‘no man knows the day or the hour’ verse into a hard-line doctrine that’s equal to the teachings of the trinity, or even the gospel itself. I’m sorry, but I think it’s up for interpretation, and this video from Scott Clark gives an excellent explanation of that verse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0YgxRmH2-A

That being said, I really appreciate the thoughtful article! Keep up the good work!

  • Good Topic of discussion, I always believed that the antichrist would come out of the Roman Empire, that destroyed Christ. (He will speak blasphemous things against the Christ.). I hope more people will be aware of the signs of our world and what the Lord is telling us by these signs that are coming at us so obviously.

  • I am so glad the Lamb & Lion and Olive Tree Ministries discuss the signs in the heavens and in the world, and bible prophecy to let people know what to expect. We should always be looking up at this point in history.

  • Thank you so much!!! I don’t fault people for wanting Jesus to return this fall (I do too!) – but the things that are being preached on this do not line up with scriptural context. You did a great job of explaining why.

  • If one thinks of this September sign as a harbinger of what is about to take place in the soon times to come (even years), it may be easier to remain open to the “sooner or later” fulfillment possibilities. It won’t bother me at all if nothing “seemingly” happens on September 23 because the assumption of “immediate result” may very well be faulty. What alarms me more is the danger of dismissing a sign God has given us. By the way, when a very similar alignment happened in I believe 3 AD it may have announced the birth of Jesus. The alignment then was Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in Leo. (Mercury has a historical association with Gabriel/messenger who announced Venus, which is the morning star, Jesus). The 2017 the alignment is Mercury, Mars and Venus in Leo, which is once again Mercury, the messenger, announcing Mars with a historical association with warrior angel, Michael followed afterwards by Venus the morning star. Big difference. What I do know is that I can’t wait for my Lord to return.

  • Hey Nathan,

I have been following your site for years now…love it by the way. I agree with Brad’s original comment, so I’ll save you the text. My only additional comment is in regards to your last two sentences…paraphrasing ” Wouldn’t it be great if the Bride and Christ were reunited on that day? It would, but I’m not relying on an alignment of stars to reveal the day”. Jesus’ birth was revealed to the Magi by a star…we retell the story every year. Why would God include that story? it seems like all other events would then by, default be okay to be revealed by the stars…..just a thought. Thanks

  • I’ve been waiting on an explanation of Rev 12 thank you all I can say is. If nothing happens I’ll be dissapointed. I’m so ready to get out of this evil perverse world. Thank You for your insight

  • Consider this since this sign has never been in the past and will never be in the future and it is seen by John during the time frame of the Great Tribulation years, this has to be a sign from GOD. The years of Jacob’s Trouble is upon us. Otherwise the timing in the book of Revelation of this sign would be totally irrevelant and of no worth of mention would it not?

  • Excellent article Nathan, thank-you as always! You may also appreciate this corroborating article by Dr. Danny Faulkner (Ph.D, Astronomy) from Answers In Genesis who offers a pretty solid refute to all the hoopla surrounding the September 23, 2017 astronomical event: https://answersingenesis.org/astronomy/stars/what-will-happen-september-23-2017/. I echo what you have stated and love your comment, “That the Great Sign actually converges with so many of these important anniversaries, prophetic events, and signs of the end times piques my interest, though not my support.” My sentiment exactly! One of those interesting “happenings,” is in view of this being a symbolic sign of “The Virgin giving birth to Jupiter,” I do find it rather interesting that it falls 9 months TO THE DAY, of the passing of U.N. Resolution 2334- the great last departing stab in the back of Israel by the Obama Administration. That Resolution passing on December 23, 2016. The exact cycle of a natural pregnancy to birth. And “happens to be” falling dead center between the most important Jewish Fall Feasts. Falling on the very next day after Rosh Hashanah ends and 1 week before Yom Kippur. And as you mentioned, “also happening” during a recent time frame of a complete solar eclipse which just “so happened”- the dark shadow of the eclipse, fell across ONLY the U.S. NOW, we can also throw in one of the greatest hurricane’s this country has ever endured- also all within this one month window. Talking about “convergence.” When we look back historically, with a ten thousand foot view on this particular brief period of time, we MAY see greater prophetic importance to the *so-called Sign depending on what else *MAY unfold on, or during this “9 month cycle” since the passing of the nefarious U.N. Res. 2334. I personally see possible evidence of “remedial judgment” married to THAT issue, more so than all the other prognosticators trying to point to those things we have already been told, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” MT 24:42

  • I am very thankful that in your article you wrote – ‘What also makes this gathering of constellations and planets so unusual is that, according to Stellarium, such an arrangement has never fully taken place, or will so ever again.’
    – Question – Has anyone done any research into where ‘STELLARIUM’ got their information about the ‘September 23, 2017 Sun \ and Moon \ and Stars \ and Planets arrangement’ – using Astrology to prognisticate that this will ONLY OCCURRING THIS ONE TIME ? ? ? ? ? ?
    – Read 2 Kings 23:5 [AV]

    {1} – Stellarium (software) @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stellarium_(software)
    – ‘Stellalrium’ is a free download – Yet it cost someone a lot of money and who knows how many man-hours to develop – For it uses lots – and lots and lots of information – over 600,000 stars from the Hipparcos Catalogue and the Tycho-2 Catalogue are accessible, as well as more than 210 million stars from additional catalogues.

    {2} – stellarium @ https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/stellarium
    Adjective [edit]

    stēllārium
    1.genitive masculine plural of stēllāris
    2.genitive feminine plural of stēllāris
    3.genitive neuter plural of stēllāris

NOTE – It is my understanding that this is a ‘transgender’ definition

    {3} – Sky cultures @ http://www.stellarium.org/wiki/index.php/Sky_cultures
Sky cultures is a term used by Stellarium referring to the way a culture describing the sky and celestial objects. In the field of astronomy, the point of concern about a sky culture is how stars are named and related to each other within this culture.

As of version 0.8.1, Stellarium contains 4 different sets of sky cultures: Western, Chinese, Ancient Egyptian, and Polynesian.

I was warned ‘in my spirit’ about ‘Stellarium’, and did some basic research after praying unto “God the Father” for HIS wisdom, discernment, and guidance.
    – What I found confirmed to me that this may very well be a “doctrine of Balaam” tool to “deceive” and mislead Christians. I have deleted the program
    – For I take the have personally “through faith” chosen to take the WARNING written by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians, Chapter 6 [AV] VERY SERIOUSLY:
[14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?
and what communion hath light with darkness?
[15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial?
or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
    for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them;
and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
    [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;
    and I will receive you,
[18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
    .

    • Nick, Dr. Danny Faulkner one of the several highly credentialed “Creation Scientists” from
https://answersingenesis.org/ who has a Ph.D in Astronomy, so he has a pretty solid foundation to talk about such things, also points out certain “failings” of that very software package you also wrote with much concern about. You may appreciate his article. It is a relatively quick read: https://answersingenesis.org/astronomy/stars/what-will-happen-september-23-2017/. His biography and credentials are easily accessed from that very article by clicking on his name, as is the case with all the scientists from that organization- just one of several excellent “Creation Science” based organizations around nowadays, such as icr.org or creation.com just to name a few. Hallelujah for those organizations and Lamb & Lion Ministries! Kind Regards, Brother John

      • John – Thank you very much for the 2 ‘links’ – I read and watched both.
        .
I have do a lot of thinking about ‘These End-Times’ in which we are living – RIGHT NOW
        – And it is more and more my Biblical understanding that ‘Stellarium’ has been “subtilly” introduced – and that it is a “doctrine of Balaam” tool to “deceive” and mislead Christians – and is much more DANGEROUS than anything that I have heard
        – I also realize that there are very-very few who will heed – for the seductive powers of “a lying spirt in the mouth of all his prophets” is written about in 1 Kings, Chapter 22 and 2 Chronicles, Chapter 18 [AV]
        .
Interestingly I just read an article about ‘Christianity and Anti-Christianity In Their Final Conflict’ and the very thought provoking comment was made that ‘the conditioning of the world by Satan is necessary for the coming of “that antichrist” – And it is written about the majority of ‘Religious people’ making the personal choice to follow “false prophets” – as has happened before – for ‘The Weeping Prophet’ wrote in Jeremiah, Chapter 5 [AV] :
        [30] A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
        [31] The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means;
and my people love to have it so:
and what will ye do in the end thereof?

And “our beloved brother Paul” gave ‘Prophetic WARNING about what the eventual consequences are for those who make the personal choice NOT to stand firm upon “the words of truth” are written about in 2 Thessalonians, Chapter 2 [AV] :
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:
only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
        [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

BUT – ‘The Weeping Prophet’ also wrote in Ecclesiastes 1:11 [AV]
        “There is no remembrance of former things;
neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.”
        .

      • About my 1st comment – OOPS – it was king Solomon who wrote the Book of Ecclesiastes – Bro. Nick

  • I have to agree with Nathan here. I first heard this bunch of hooey ( which that is exactly what it is) on Gary Speerman’s Prophecy Watcher’s where he had a gentleman espousing this nonsense. I say it’s nonsense because Rev. 12 clearly tells us who that Child is that gets caught up to God. Never in Scripture does one read that the Church will rule with a rod of iron. Yes, we will rule and reign WITH CHRIST, not by ourselves. But this guy try to claim that the verb used here in Rev. 12 “to be caught up” (harpazo in Greek) is the same word use by the Apostle Paul in I Thess. 4:17 where the Church is caught up in the Rapture. So, because of the usage of this verb in both places, this had to be the Church. I say that because this is prophetic speech where John is describing a particular vision, not a literal happening, the use of the verb harpazo doesn’t matter except for clarity of the vision. The clear description of the Man Child Who will rule the nations with a rod of iron rules out the Church. Besides, this is nothing more than another attempt to date-set the Rapture which Jesus Himself clearly forbade us to do. He made it clear that only the Father knows the exact time and date for this event and if you know anything about 1st century Jewish wedding tradition, you would know that even the bridegroom didn’t know the time of his wedding until his father told him to go get his bride. So it is true here. Even though the Lord is with the Father in His glorified state, He still doesn’t know the day and hour, because the Father has chosen to keep that time in His own power to fulfill this wedding tradition. This also repudiates “Jesus only” doctrine as well. However, I do believe that these signs are warning us of things to come and I believe that the big one will be the Psalm 83 war. I also believe that it’s a warning to us here in America that something terrible is about to happen here that will tear this country apart at its very fabricate and we as Christians need to be prepared for it. After all, this country IS NOT MENTIONED anywhere in Scripture, which is ominous itself. I’d say that the best way to interpret this “sign” is to BE READY!!!! Like my pastor preached last Sunday- abide daily in Christ, for then you will be ready for when that call goes forth to “COME UP HITHER!!!!” Amen?

    • Darrel… you said the following:
“Never in Scripture does one read that the Church will rule with a rod of iron. Yes, we will rule and reign WITH CHRIST, not by ourselves.”

I humbly ask that you read what Jesus tells us in Revelation 2:26-27…

The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, 27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father.

  • As a retired Christian Apologist, I am always concerned when a new and questionable speculation emerges, and receives widespread coverage.

The radical atheist organizations always use failed predictions to attack the Christian faith. Unfortunately, too many sincere but misguided Christians are always giving more material to atheists.

As a theologan and defender of the faith for over thirty years, I cannot count the number of such predictions which were made and which all failed during my ministry career.

One of the great philosopher once said that he often found that many who were supposedly in his side; that he wished that they were on his opponents side.

And this is exactly my perspective of so many of those well meaning Christians who advance predictions that later fail. And once these predictions fail, they are added to the long list of failed predictions, and used by atheists and others who attack the Christian Faith.

  • We are and have been in conflict with Satan. God is definitely ready to battle Satan, who is the source of all sin, evil, persecution, and suffering on the earth, and he understands why the great battle between the forces of God and Satan must soon take place, Satan is seen in all his wickedness. The woman represents God’s faithful people who have been waiting for the Messiah, the crown of 12 stars represents the 12 tribes of Israel….God set apart the Jews for himself (Romans 9:4, 5) and that nation gave birth to the Messiah. The male child is Jesus. This male child is born to a devout Jew named Mary. Luke 1:26-33. Herod’s desire to kill this newborn king, whom he saw as a threat to his throne, was motivated by Satan (the red dragon,). who wanted to kill the world’s Savior. The heavenly pageant of Revelation 12 shows that Christ’s quiet birth in the town of Bethlehem had cosmic significance. This is more signs and wonders in the heavens. What a marvelous sight to focus on in this world of total chaos!

  • Signs in the heavens that were created by God are different than going to a medium, sooth sayer, who uses divination to foretell the future, or speak to the dead.

  • Nimal is correct about this being a future event, but incorrect about the “man-child” being a group. Jesus Himself referenced this person, this “man-child”, in Matthew 17:11 and Mark 9:12. He is the third Elijah. He will be snatched up to Heaven (for final training) and return shortly before the “Woman”, the Bride of Christ, is raptured, to be kept safely in Heaven for 1260 days.

  • We’ve been told that no one knows the day or the hour but that we can know when it is near, even at the door. Surely this shows us how close we are to Jesus’ coming, and we should be taking the time we’re living in seriously.

  • You may have missed one very important thing concerning astronomy and Scripture. Scripture was, as You know, completed at the end of the 1st century, however the constellation Virgo wasn’t catalogued by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy, until the 2nd century.

  • I believe your second problem is where you are wrong. Everything else appears to be pretty fairly though out. Thank you. Good work.

  • Nathan,
As your brother in Christ, I feel that I must address your recent article regarding the Revelation 12 sign occurring on September 23rd a day after Feast of Trumpets. I started to write a long rebuttal to your article and stopped and changed course. I just want to say that it appears that you and other ministries are intentionally ignoring THE POSSIBILITY (I repeat “THE POSSIBILITY”) that these signs could be indicating an impending church rapture. It may not happen in September 2017, but it is possible. Please don’t appease me to saying any day is possible. Of course, we all know that. These signs may be indicating something in the near future. We don’t know for sure. I am disappointed by most all the big television prophetic ministers at their silence regarding these upcoming events. Some ministries, tip-toe around the topic but won’t address it head-on for fear of being viewed as “setting dates”. Your ministries reach a lot of viewers, and its dangerous to give them a sense that these signs are NOT for now is dangerous. How can we openly discuss events focused around a date without being labeled as “a date setter”? Many of your flock are looking to you all for guidance, but instead hear the sound of crickets. Equally as damaging are articles that won’t AT LEAST ADMIT the possibility of this event. I pray that soon these bigger ministries standup and openly and honestly discuss this possibility. Nathan, may God continue to bless you and your wonderful ministry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my views.

  • Nathan – there seems to be a clear divide among Christians on this topic, primarily along financial lines. Those organizations that don’t believe Revelation 12:1-2 are about to be fulfilled often have a vested financial interest in the status quo – to admit otherwise would not sell very well and be in conflict with previously sold books (or endorsed guests selling books). But it seems the majority without financial influences take God at His literal Word and believe God is moving in the heavens just as He has done before. Do you disagree? If no, how can we remove man-made influences and rightly divide?

  • We will surely be looking and watching the sky on the 23rd of September. Acts 2:17 “In the Last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I believe that true believers are really being enlightened to the truth in these times, which are filled with darkness and violence, to let us know that God sees all, and he is coming.

  • Great analysis Nathan. I guess in my mind that something big is going to happen.
One thing that bothers me is that many Christians seem to think that the rapture will save them from the ensuing chaos in the United States. They don’t understand that in much the rest of the world Christianity is a life and death decision. Once one becomes a Christian life gets tough. Here in America it’s a cakewalk. Things can and probably will get very much worse it America before the rapture and tribulation takes place.
Something that bothers me about this great sign is how little exposure there is to it. It seems like almost nobody knows anything about it or is talking about it. For as significant as it is or could be, it is a big nothing at this point.
As for me, I decided to get a little extra food and water and of course a double dose of dog food LOL. I have never been drawn to any date setting of any kind, but this one just seems different for some reason.

  • I appreciate and thank you for your comments and bringing this to our attention. He tells us if we are watching and praying these signs of his coming will not come on us unaware. I truly believe the blood moons, the eclipse and the terrible storm in Texas are all signs converging and pointing to the rapture of the Church. Even if it doesn’t happen to be September 23, 2017, I truly believe it will be soon. Thanks for the good work.

  • I have a question regarding the mark of the beast and the seal of God. In Rev 13:16 and Rev 7:3 , it tells about the mark of the Anti-Christ and in Rev 9:4 and 14:1 it tells about the seal of the Father. The question is how will the seal of God be? like the microchip or something else?

  • Even if people don’t know the word of the Lord, or are believers, they get the feeling that something is terribly wrong in our universe, its a feeling that cannot be shaken from our memory and our feelings. We are so thankful for ministries who are preaching the true gospel. The King is Coming!

  • Every person hath been given the choice by “the Lord God Almighty” to ‘Believe Whatsoever Thou Wilt’ – for NOWHERE is it written in “the word of the Lord” that ANYONE MUST BELIEVE anything that is written in the Holy Bible.
    – So each person is free to believe that the ‘September 23, 2017 – Revelation 12’ is the fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy.
    – However – Each person who makes that personal choice is PERSONALLY DENYING the Biblical Statements made by “I am Alpha and Omega” ~ “the Almighty” ~ “the Word” ~ “the Lord Jesus Christ” who personally said in Matthew 24:36 [AV]:
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

~ AND that which “the Lord Christ Jesus” personally said again in Matthew 25:13 [AV] :
WATCH therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

~ AND YET AGAIN for the third time in Mark, Chapter 13 [AV] :
[32] But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
[33] Take ye heed, WATCH and PRAY: for ye know not when the time is.
[34] For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
    [35] WATCH ye therefore:
for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
[36] Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
[37] And what I say unto you I say unto all,
    WATCH.

We are living in the Biblically Prophesied ‘Last-Times’ of ‘Lukewarm Laodiceanism’ when there are very-very-very few people who call themselves ‘Christians’ are willing to make a firm stand upon “the words of truth” ~ as they are written in the 66 Books of “the law of God” ~ and Divinely preserved ONLY IN the Holy Bible [AV]

My personal choice as a Biblical CHRISTian’ is “through faith” in “the words of truth” to publickly state absolutely and dogmatically that my belief is in that which “the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” personally said – the Rapture will not occur on September 23, 2017 !
It is a FALSE PROPHECY !
    .

  • One more thing (while my previous comment awaits moderation)

Could it be that this Great Sign is just a pre-cursor to the mid-tribulation Great Sign? After all, it is a “one time” event. If all hell breaks loose on earth on Sept 23, and then during the tribulation the Great Sign astrological event re-occurs, that would indeed be a Great Sign and would signal calamity beyond the 2017 events.

  • Lamb & Lion. Just look at the lateness of the hour. These hurricanes, earthquakes, and other weather events, signs and wonders in the heavens, wars and rumors of wars. Haggai 2:6, 7, 21. I am going to shake heaven and earth. I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdom of nations,

  • Dear brother, Nathan,
Peace to you! Thank you for following the prompting of the Spirit to write this article.
At the time of my reading this, I am writing a study on the Apostle Peter. Just yesterday, I was reflecting upon a passage in Acts, wherein the band of men from Galilee were staring into the sky watching Jesus being taken into heaven. They were assured by two men in white that he would return in the same way.
I could not help but think of Peter here as an ordinary fisherman about to do extraordinary things through the power of the Holy Spirit.
As fishermen, both Peter and John would have used the Mazzeroth, would they not? Or at least a Greek version of the same for navigational purposes? It is interesting that Jesus refers to himself as the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, for these are the Greek names that represent stars in the Constellations (which God paraded before Job).
While the Torah forbade astrology/star-gazing as idolatry, the same cannot be said for astronomy? Peter and John would surely have known how to use the latter and avoid the former.
Considering these musings, I can only conclude that astronomy and the stars have much to do with the sign of the Son of Man and His return. I find it humorous that the two men dressed in white implored Peter and the others to stop staring into the sky…waiting for Jesus to return. The implication and application for us? There is much work to continue fulfilling the great commission, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the fallen world. While we endeavor to keep this commitment, may those gifted in prophecy, who use the stars as intended, be kept in prayer, guarded against fallacy.
    In Jesus’ name,
    Deborah

    • Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Jesus, gave the Apostle John these signs in the heavens for the church to look for. Christ in Prophecy staff, do not call what Jesus gave us, astrology! You accuse Jesus of sin! We were to receive these things in the Book of Revelations and heed them.

  • Hi Nathan, Do you or Dr. Reagan have a specific scriptural analysis of 2Thess.2:1-4 that reconciles it with the pre-trib rapture? In that it seems that Paul is saying the revealing of the a/c and sitting in the temple must happen before believers are gathered to the Lord, or at least that is the major argument against a pre-trib rapture. I’m hoping you can help my understanding and analysis. I’ve also been praying for clarification.
    Thank you,
    Troy

    • Troy, good question! 2 Thessalonians 2 shows the state of mind of the church at Thessalonica. They were worried that due to a false letter they had received that somehow they were living in the “Day of the Lord,” which is the 7-year Tribulation culminating in Jesus’ Second Coming (Joel 1:15; 2:1-2,11, 31; Acts 2:20; 2 Thes. 2:3; Rev. 6:17). The Day of the Lord, Paul is assuring the Church, will not happen until the Antichrist makes a peace covenant with Israel for 7 years (Dan. 9:27) and a great rebellion or falling away from God occurs.

The Bible makes it clear that the Tribulation is God’s wrath poured out upon the unbelieving world, and not for those who are saved from Christ’s resurrection to the Rapture – called the Church. True believers in Christ during the Church Age, represented by the Church of Philadelphia, are promised in Revelation 3:10, “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” Paul states in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, “and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.” He also states in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:9 states, “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” Ephesians 5:6 states, “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.” Colossians 3:4 states, “When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Again and again, Scripture states the Church is not meant to endure God’s special time of wrath.

Paul earlier gives the Church of Thessalonica and all believers encouragement in the hope of the Rapture that we will not live into this terrible time (1 Thes. 4:18). And so, later in 2 Thes. 2:5 Paul reminds them of this teaching so that they don’t have to worry. He also encourages the church in verse 15 to hold on to these teachings on the Rapture so as not to be swayed by false teachings, and so we have the “eternal encouragement and good hope” that the Lord gives to strengthen us.

      • Thank you Nathan, I also feel Rev.3:10; 1Thess.1:10 and 5:9 are not consistent with the church going through the tribulation. More directly in 2Thess.2:1-4, my argument is that Paul is reminding them as you point out of his earlier conversations with them where he told them about both the gathering together and the day of the Lord where he is giving the conditions for the day of the Lord and then says that that can’t happen until He who now restrains is taken out of the way(v.7), to me meaning the Holy Spirit (the power of God able to restrain “not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord”-Zech.4:6), and if the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way, then those filled with the Holy Spirit are taken along together at that time.
        Troy

  • Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this! This is the best explanation I have heard on this subject, and will most likely read it a couple more times !

  • Scoffing at signs that Jesus gave us to look for is not good idea. So many people speculated that this could be the churches redemption from the earth. Everyone is missing what this could actually be pointing to from a biblical perspective. Micah 5 speaks of the remainder of the Jews returning to their brethren in Israel after this sign in the heavens. So maybe the real story here is some kind of increasing rejection of the Jews, around the world, forcing them to flee to Israel. Also, the prophecy speaks of Jesus getting ready to come back to Shepard Israel after this sign in the heavens. It appears to be a mile stone which has come to be. And now Jesus is that much closer to redeeming the church!

  • Alas, the Lord our God, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and loving kindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, we have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly and rebelled, having turned aside from Your WORD, received from Jesus Christ our Lord, His apostles and the faithful men of God. Moreover, we have not listened to your servants the faithful men of God, who spoke in Your name to our Presidents, our Governors, our senators, representatives and all the people of the land. “Righteousness belongs to You, the Lord our God, but to us open shame, as it is this day—to the people of the United States, because of their unfaithful deeds which they have committed against You. Open shame belongs to us, to our Presidents, our Governors, our senators, representatives and all the people of the land, because we have sinned against You. To the Lord our God belongs compassion and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him; nor have we obeyed His voice, to walk in His teachings which He set before us through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, servants the apostles and the faithful men of God.
Indeed, all of the United States has sinned and turned aside, not obeying your voice; apostate church, people calling good evil and evil good, shedding innocent blood and calling it a woman’s right to choose, homosexuality, homosexual marriage, transgenderism, heterosexual fornication, divorce, adultery, murder, stealing, lying, genetic manipulation of your creation, witchcraft, occultism, idolatry, drunkenness, drug abuse, refusal to obey the government laws, violence toward our fellow man; so, each time your Hand of Protection draws back allowing evil to have its way with us, for we have sinned against the Lord our God. All this calamity has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our iniquity and giving attention to Your truth. Therefore, the LORD has kept the calamity in store and allowed it on us; for the LORD our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have ignored His WORD given to us through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, the apostles and all the faithful men of God. And now, O Lord our God, who has blessed this country beyond measure, we have shown our gratitude by allowing the seed of sin to grow into a great hideous tree covering the land with deep roots, we have been wicked. O Lord, in accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now your anger and your wrath turn away from the United States of America.
So now, our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his supplications, and for your sake, O Lord, let Your face shine on this country once again, for we are not presenting our supplications before you on account of any merits of our own, but, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died on the cross once for all sin, and for the members of the body of Christ who faithfully continue to wait for the promised redemption. Maranatha.

  • It was easy to tell this was false prophecy. If you had read Zechariah 13.
There are no more prophets Post John the Baptists / Jesus the Christ.

“To seal up vision and prophecy” as it were.

    Zechariah 13: 1-4

1“On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

2“On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more,” declares the Lord Almighty. “I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. 3And if anyone still prophesies, their father and mother, to whom they were born, will say to them, ‘You must die, because you have told lies in the Lord’s name.’ Then their own parents will stab the one who prophesies.

4“On that day every prophet will be ashamed of their prophetic vision. They will not put on a prophet’s garment of hair in order to deceive.

  • To correct your statement, because not all Christians believe as you listed: When the child is caught up to the Throne of Father God, We the Church; We are the Body of Christ. We will be caught up to the Throne of Father God when our King Jesus Christ comes for us, his Saints (the Church). Very simple, yet as I read here another mis-interpretation. :>)

  • Proverbs 29:12 New King James Version (NKJV)
If a ruler pays attention to lies,
    All his servants become wicked.

  • Aloha! May I ask why you named this blog the “lion and the lamb” when Isaiah 11:6 says the “wolf and the lamb”? I’d really appreciate your response on this. Mahalo!

    • Lamb & Lion Ministries is named for Jesus who first came as a suffering “lamb” to die for our sins, but will come back as a conquering “lion” to set up His Kingdom.

  • Hi Nathan,

Like you I was intrigued by this sign. At first I set out to disprove that this sign was biblical, but the more I researched, the more signs lined up with what I read in the Bible. I am still not convinced 100% either way and love to learn more about God’s word each day. Here are my notes and the extra signs that also seem to be lining up with the Revelation 12 sign that most people don’t mention. What are your thoughts?

    Sign 1:
    Revelation 12:1-2
Jupiter (king planet) entered the constellation Virgo (Virgin) back in December 2016 and was there through September. 9 months. Pregnant?
On September 23, 2017 the moon was at Virgo’s feet, she had the sun at her shoulder and Mercury, Mars, and Venus all lined up in the constellation Leo, making it look like a crown of twelve stars. Jupiter was still in Virgo on that day.

    Sign 2:
    Revelation 12:3-9
Saturn (another name for Satan) was circling at the feet of the constellation Ophiuchus (serpent bearer) for the same 9 months that Jupiter was in Virgo. Ophiuchus is a constellation at the feet of Virgo.

    Sign 3:
    Revelation 15:1
7 years (7 year tribulation – 70th week in Daniel 9:24-27) from 2017 is 2024. It just so happens that in May of 2024 ALL 7 planets are lined up coming out of the Pleiades. The Pleiades (7 angels/7 stars Rev 1:20) are pouring out the 7 bowls described in Revelation 16.

Coincidence/Sign 4: Solar Eclipses happening one month before each of the Revelation signs in 2017 and 2024. The paths of the two solar eclipses make an “X” across the United States.

    • Thank you for your good thoughts. You are the first I’ve seen discuss the third explicit sign.
Revelation states explicitly that the women and the other aspects (clothed with sun, moon under her feet, crown of 12 stars, pregnant, etc.) surrounding Rev. 12: 1-2 is: “A Great Sign in the sky”. It is a sign in the sky nothing more, nothing less.
Same goes for the SUBSEQUENT SECOND SIGN, fewer people want to talk about: Rev. 12:3 – 4a: THEN another sign appeared in the sky: a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to earth.
On December 17, 2017 the Constellation Scorpio (the ancient dragon that had Libra as its claws: forming constellation Chelae) sat with the 7 bright stars from the head of the constellation Serpens with 7 stars of crowns from Corona Borealis, AND the five stars of the body of Serpens along with five wandering stars: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn above Scorpio’s body with Jupiter located at the tip of Libra. And further to the right of Scorpio is Hydra as the tail, which has an 8 hour ascension time, casting a third of the stars to earth throughout the day.
Then, Rev. 12:4b – 5 shifts to another “event” in the sky without calling it a sign, but it derives from the other two signs by interplay and order. It is noted by a transition in the text by Then: “THEN . . . or And Then . . . Her child was caught up to God and his throne.” This “taking up” occurred on March 23rd to July 9 — Jupiter descends further into the claws of Scorpio from atop Libra along the ecliptic above Jerusalem, Israel, until March 23rd, 2018. then it reverses course to the top of Libra until July 9 when it finishes and finally reverses course again to leave the scene along the ecliptic line the other way. Libra was always considered the throne of God where God’s justice reigns.
This means the countdown of 1,260 days for the women likely began either just around March 23rd or July 9th, 2018.
The absolute only “meaning” that matters, or that has any significance as to what each person personally gives to the Women from this sign is at Rev. 12: verse 6 and thereafter. If you are inspired by the Holy Spirit to identify yourself as a part of the Women one way or the other (Mary, Church, Israel, Eve, etc.), then the verse of “fleeing” to “prepare” a place with God matters to you based on this. If NOT, and you still are a “believer” in Yeshua HaMashiach, then you are the remnant of her seed, whom the dragon goes after at the last verse of the chapter in Rev. 12: 17: those who keep the commandments of God AND have testimony to Jesus Christ.
Additionally, if you identify with the Women, then you also will be given the wings of the Eagle with Her at Rev 12:14 to take FLIGHT in a Greater Exodus spoken of all throughout Hebrew Scriptures by Moses in Deut. 28-32, Ezekiel, Jeremiah 23: 6-8, and many other places. You then know that fleeing is preparing with God, and FLIGHT is Exodus with God, who is bringing about ALL these events. One thing to note as a difference in this Greater Exodus compared to the Exodus out of Egypt: The Women takes Flight to the place she has prepared, and from it, which is a little different from the Church in the desert going to the promised land from Egypt. We flee, then flight, then the plagues come.

  • I think we are all missing the point. Why are we focusing on signs in the heavens when we should be focusing on Gods word and watching how prophecy is unfolding thru Gods plans for Israel? Secondly, I believe that in studying prophecy it is important to understand the law of first mention in Gods word and the use of types and other cryptic symbolism that God uses and in saying that I believe that Revelation is a book of codes deciphered throughout the whole counsel of God. Therefore the signs alluded to are pointing back to interpretation throughout scripture. For a very good study get Ron Matson’s commentary on Revelation.

  • I think it’s also interesting what preceded the Sept 23 2017 rev 12 sign. The solar eclipse passed through “seven Salem’s”. If you recall Melchizedek appearing to Abraham, was referred to as the King of Salem. After the eclipse was hurricanes Jose and Maria (Joseph and Mary respectfully). Then on 12/6/2017, Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel. It’s also interesting that 2017 – 1948 = 69 years. 69th week of Daniel correlation to Jesus? Then the day Israel was reborn: 5+14+1948= 1967, the year Israel recaptured Jerusalem.

It’s all, “coincidentally” points to Jesus and Jerusalem?

  • Good points and blog. So many of us were waiting and watching in 2017. I was just reading some thoughts from the blog, Sabine Shares and she mentioned the Sept. 23, 2017 event. Then went back to Rev. 12: 6 – “The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.” Wouldn’t the woman be the bride – elect, waiting and watching. Then I thought of Rabbi Kaduri and Shoshani prophecy about the elections and coming true and all points to the next elections. Interestingly, the Israeli election is set for Mar 23, 2021, coming up shortly.

  • Commenting on your opinion and perspective, now, the date being Sept 18, 2022, it was very intuitive biblically and scientifically speaking…..
