The Christ in Prophecy Journal

God’s Timing

PDF

The May/June 2012 issue of our Lamplighter magazine focused on the decay of society, and we featured the current epidemic of homosexuality as evidence of the moral collapse of our society. The issue started arriving at homes about three days before President Obama made his infamous endorsement of same-sex marriage. Immediately people started calling and expressing their amazement over the timeliness of our subject matter.

The credit for that should go to God and His leading of us through His Holy Spirit. Because we were obedient to that leading, we were able to supply a lot of valuable biblical information that pastors all across America could use in sermons. We were as astonished by the perfect timing as were those who contacted us!

Of course, the main issue of timing that we address constantly is the return of Jesus. It is our conviction that we are definitely living in the season of the Lord’s return. We do not believe there is a single prophecy that must be fulfilled for the Lord to return.

People sometime point to Matthew 24:14 where Jesus said “this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world… and then the end will come.” There are two things that must be remembered about this prophecy. First, it refers to the Second Coming and not the Rapture. The Rapture (the Lord’s appearing for His Church) can occur any moment, whereas there are many prophecies that must be fulfilled before the Lord returns to this earth in what we call “The Second Coming.”

Second, Jesus’ prophecy will not be fulfilled until the end of the Tribulation when God will send forth an angel who will circumnavigate the globe, proclaiming the gospel to every living person (Revelation 14:6).

As I have said many times before, and as I will continue to say, “We are living on borrowed time!” I know that for certain, not because God has given me any special prophetic revelation, but because the Bible gives us signs to watch for, and those signs are everywhere we look today, crying out from the heavens, “Jesus is returning soon!”

The future has arrived. The ancient end time prophecies are being fulfilled before our eyes. The time is short, and the tragedy is that the Church is asleep, being led by men more interested in church growth than in preparing their people for Jesus to appear in the heavens at any moment. Worst yet are those Church leaders who are openly scoffing at the idea of the Lord’s imminent return, arguing instead that the Church must first win the world to Christ and then reign for a thousand years before the Lord can return.

Satan does not want anyone to know that Jesus is standing at the very gates of Heaven waiting for His Father’s command to step out on a cloud and return for His Church. And those who are proclaiming that message are under constant attack.

Pray for us to stand firm and to never waver in fulfilling the Lord’s call for us to proclaim the soon return of Jesus to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.

Maranatha! (1 Corinthians 16:22)

  • Dr. Reagan states confidently “We do not believe there is a single prophecy that must be fulfilled for the Lord to return”

Presumeably, that is because L&L believe the final prophecies that HAD to occur before that event – were fulfilled in 1948 – that caveat being the ‘latter rain’ and the re-building of the ‘tabernacle of David’ both concerning the Church as well as for Israel. So NOW you can declare truthfully to the Pre-Trib Study Group that you believer in a imminent Pre-Trib Rapture!

Where does that leave the Apostle Paul who plainly expected an impending, any moment now, return of Jesus with NO suggestion of your caveats!

    Such guile

  • Anonymous, nothing needs to happen before the Rapture to occur, not even Israel returning to the land in 1948. Scripture teaches the imminent return of Jesus, in that the Lord may appear at any moment and, therefore, we are to always be ready for the Lord's return (Matthew 24:36, 42, 44, 50; 25:13). Imminent means just that – at any time without pre-events.

Anyone's welcome to disagree with us. And, they're also welcome to find another site that fits their interpretation of the Bible and/or divisiveness.

  • Nathan
My comment is based on Dr.Reagan’s previous statement on Thursday June 14th 2012 which defies an Imminent Rapture as you rightly define it in your comment.

Quote: We have been in the period of the "LATTER RAIN" ever since the re-establishment of the state of Israel on ***May 14, 1948.*** THE SPIRIT IS BEING POURED OUT, and the GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT are being manifest in a way unparalleled since the First Century. The praise and worship of the Tabernacle of David are ALSO being RESTORED TO THE CHURCH TO FURTHER EMPOWER IT for spiritual warfare.
This great anointing of the Spirit is producing a remnant that is immersed in the WORD, committed to RIGHTEOUSNESS, CRUCIFIED TO SELF, dedicate to prayer, surrendered in worship, zealous for EVANGELISM and yearning for the soon RETURN OF JESUS. It is THIS REMNANT that will usher in the LORD’S RETURN on a cloud of praise.” Un-quote.

This states this ‘LATTER RAIN’ (and the ‘Tabernacle of David’) is to happen to the Church BEFORE the Lord’s return (Rapture). He certainly cannot be referring to apostate Israel who will not return to the Lord until just prior to the 2nd Coming at the end of the Seven Year Tribulation.

If he means saved Jews, then they are part of the Church and will depart at the Rapture.

Dr. Reagan is claiming two events happen BEFORE the Rapture can occur; therefore the Rapture ceases to be ‘imminent’. As Dr. Ice said ‘catch fish or cut bait’ BOTH cannot be true.

Dr. Reagan rightly states – Quote: The message is clear. We must all be on guard spiritually. None of us is immune to deception. Everything must be tested by the Word. If a doctrine fails the test of Scripture, it is to be rejected, regardless of who is teaching it. Our trust is to be placed in the Word and not in men.Un-quote.

I'm sorry, but any divisiveness is coming from the double-mindedness that is being produced here; I am only challenging what is patently wrong!

  • We could certainly use your prayers right now!

In addition to my wife having congestive heart failure and now having to be on permanent dialysis treatment for kidney failure, we got the bad news recently that her younger sister was brutally beaten to death by her so-called 'boyfriend'.

My wife has been stressing a lot this past week whenever she thinks of the circumstances, where I have had to give her some nitro tabs a few times to keep her from having to go to the hospital again.

Your love and prayers are much appreciated.

  • DrNoFog, I am saddened to here such distressing news, I pray for the healing of your wife and that all those effected by the terrible death of her younger sister would find comfort as well as justice! May the Lord God strengthen you during this time and grant you peace!

  • There is no evidence that the Rapture could happen at any moment, however the event itself will occur in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye! The Apostle Paul identifies that the Rapture will occur prior to the Time of Wrath (Tribulation) as we are informed children of the light and of the day, this approaching time will not overtake us as a thief!

To what can we compare this? Consider the comparison to the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot, when all things appeared normal with rampant immorality and corruption as the order of the day, the inhabitants of the earth still trusted in themselves for security having reprobate minds! In their open rebellion they had no fear of judgement!

All indications from the scriptures indicate that the Rapture will be an expected event for believers yet unexpected for unbelievers. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching"-Hebrews 10:25.

If then that day is hidden from us, then how is it we are instructed to lift each other up as we see the day approaching! Noah and Lot were warned of coming judgement as they were witnesses of the growing wickedness and perversion of the time in which they lived observing society and the globe on self destruct!

We presently live in a time prophesied as the "Days of Noah and Lot", though a faithful few remain to share the message of the Gospel, it is also known that at this time we live among growing Apostasy where sound doctrine is no longer endured! It is this false Church that is winning converts at an accelerated rate as they appeal to the selfish lusts of their congregants and their preachers of mammon!

What warning will we then have that the Time of Wrath approaches? I personally believe this occurs when the Lord God again returns his focus upon Israel to fullfill his purpose and plans for his people (Daniel 9:24) under the umbrella of the final week. What prophesied event to yet take place cause the focus of the Lord to return then to his people Israel? I believe we already know the answer to this for it is recorded as follows, "So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward"-Ezekiel 39:22.

  • Rodney, thanx!
Although we both get a kick outta some of yer opinions from time to time, coming from you, your expressions mean a very lot to both of us!
Thanx again, and God bless you too!

And thanx to all the rest of you that continue to uphold us & each other in these perilous times!

  • We do well to listen to Christ Jesus and His Words on the catching away. First, nothing about the tribulation will be "as a thief in the night." Jesus Himself does not know when the rapture is "but the Father only." Jesus knows all about the tribulation: Matthew 24, Luke 17, Revelation.
Therefore, we need to do as He says concerning the rapture. He could not have been more clear on its imminence. And we are to "comfort one another with "these words", as Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 4, and be absolutely thrilled to overflowing at the prospects of it.
And so we witness as if it were today, and it could be.
    Any other view is non-Biblical.
It is not open for debate. Just be ready and love it.

  • Robert, perhaps for you it is not open to debate, for it is clear there exists a transition from the Church to Israel in the divine plan of the Lord God, Ezekiel 39:29 identifies this transition in the aftermath of the Gog/Magog battle. The suggestion that we will not know the Day nor the Hour is a misinterpretation of the context, the context of this particular passage of scripture identifies with the disolving of the heavens and the earth in preparation for a New Heaven and New Earth!

It is also clear that as children of light and of the day, that day, or the day of our gathering will not overtake us as a thief! In addition any additional application of not knowing the day or the hour does not refer to the Rapture! Those that will condemn believers in their anticipation or perceived time in which they personally believe that the Rapture will occur are ignorant of the truth concerning the scriptures!

For those of you seeking another viewpoint regarding this, Jack Kelly or Grace Thru Faith Ministries also shares this opinion in his article titled "No One Knows The Day Or Hour"! It is unfortunate that Seminaries continue to produce fables and instruct their student ministers to preach the same error endlessly!

  • If Jack Kelly shares your opinion as you claim, then you are both wrong. Whats happened to the 'Christ in Prophecy Journal'. This blog has been hijacked into "Rodney's Rambling's". Get your own blog and leave this one alone. grmpf 🙁

  • Rodney, I don't know what you're trying to put forth, but that's a serious misreading of Jack Kelly's article…

Right at the top, in the 3rd paragraph, he clearly states:

"…Let me say from the outset that I don’t believe the day or hour of the Rapture can be known in advance by anyone on Earth because I don’t believe it’s set to happen on any specific day or at any specific hour. I believe it’s set to happen when a specific number of born again believers is reached, and I base that conclusion on my understanding of Romans 11:25.

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in…"

And again, in the 5th paragraph:

"…All we can know is that we’ll be Raptured when the full number of Gentiles has come in and it could literally happen on any given day…"

Rodney, that's Imminence about as clearly as it could possibly be stated!

In other word, what he is stating is "Hold that thot ["Imminence"] while I show that these other, popularly used verses are taken out of their context of the "2nd coming", have nothing to do with the Rapture, and should not be used "…to discourage speculation about the timing of the Rapture…"

You apparently got all excited about what you thot you were read that you lost that thot…
    😉

  • Acts 1:7 Jesus told the disciples, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

The Rapture is in that as well because we are not told when it is, and nothing else can happen until the Church is gone.

That will be the starting gun when the last gentile is gathered and with the Church gone the Antichrist will be able to confirm the 7 year contract with Israel. THEN, those new believers, who get to know the Bible will know for certain that Jesus will return to set up the Kingdom at the end of the seven years when Jesus comes back onto the earth. The Rapture had been a mystery so its obvious Jesus wasn’t talking about that. He was talking about the whole kit and caboodle of times and seasons concerning end events, not just his bodily return. Up to the unknown date of the rapture, we don’t know when any of it is going to happen. All this not knowing if its the Rapture or the 2nd Coming is a moot point and a big storm in a little teacup. AFTER the Rapture, all them that read the prophecies will know for sure whats to happen next and when. How can you have a time or season for something that could happen at any second! The Apostles preached that they were expecting Jesus to return for THEM 2000 years ago!!!! Meantime we aren’t told WHEN, so that’s that! Just keep a good look-out not to be fooled by any date settings for times and seasons, the Rapture could happen in the next second———–

  • "Hold that thot ["Imminence"]

Right on the button! Wish I had written that 'thot', its much quicker. 😉

  • To all concerned, the focus of the Lord God upon Israel as depicted during and in the aftermath of the battle of Gog/Magog identified clearly that the time of the Church will be complete as the Lord God pours out his spirit upon Israel as recorded in Ezekiel 39:29! This battle is the key to unlocking several prophetic events.

While the Church is engrossed in Apostasy, the natural branches are being prepared to be grafted in again, the coming of Elijah before the Great and Dreadful Day (Tribulation) will ensure this transition as he will prepare the hearts of Israel to receive the Spirit of God!

I realize this does seem to make some individuals angry, knowing that all this time there has been a visible transition from the Church to Israel recorded in the scriptures, missed by countless scholars, regardless it remains a fact! The coming Battle of Gog/Magog will bring the closing of the Church age and Israel will pick up the mantle! Indeed the Rapture is imminent as we see Russia, Iran, and a host of many nations presently being gathered to the borders of Israel. Syria is this primary gathering point as I have always held!

The scriptpure references provided to prohibit individual believers from seeking to identify the time of the Rapture simply do not exist for these references that are employed by clergy and others have nothing to do with the Rapture and therefore I will stick to my guns!

  • The Rapture simply can not occur without Israel being prepared to pick up the mantle, for the Lord God will not leave the earth without a messenger of his plan of redemption, that could not be more clearer!

  • Why is it so hard for the Church to realize that they are not the only one included in the divine plan and purposes of God? The physical restoration of Israel has taken place and as promised the spiritual restoration will also take place! We should be rejoicing to see this time!

  • A large part of the Jew-Gentile church is fully aware that God has not finished with Israel. Sorry, but your timing of the Gog magog war is way off as its all part of God's discipline to bring the nation of Israel to repentance. Jesus said he will return when they recognise him as their rightful Messiah, when they do just before the end of the Trib THATS when there is the outpouring of the H/S. You are reading into Scripture what isn't there. There is no transition as you put it; Salvation for the Jew is by faith in Jesus when the H/S plunges them into Christ's body. When the Body is gone, God will begin his judgments on all unbelievers Jew and Gentile to bring Israel to repentance.

  • Not again! Rodney is rambling again and Im sure these same remarks have already been refuted……? Lamb and Lion, if ur to leave these up,and not delete them, then at least make a stand against them or we shall all think you agree with Rodneys Ramblings as he comes over as being the offical spokesperson for Lamb/Lion – its confusing so please have mercy and delete like you did with the Prewrath brother, or at least explain where Rodney is wrong. Unless you think hes right, in which case – oh no!

  • the Lord God will not leave the earth without a messenger

Rodney – when the Church is gone from earth, do you not consider the Holy Spirit, the Bible, Elijah, the 144k, the two witness and the gospel angels as Gods messengers?

  • *the Rapture is – imminent – as we see Russia, Iran, and a host of many nations presently being gathered to the borders of Israel. Syria is this primary gathering point as I have always held!*

Paul wasn’t expecting these events, these countries didn't even exist, yet he was expecting Jesus to return at any moment for him when he was alive. Thats imminence.

Those events were not foretold to happen first by Scripture and they may happen sooner or later – it depends, this may be it or it will all be put on the back burner to happen decades into the future. Many thought it about the Arab wars, the Soviet block and both World wars in the early to mid 19th C, and here we still are in the Noughties, and its still not happened. Thats not what imminent means.

  • *We should be rejoicing to see this time!*

I think you are preaching to the choir, as is unlikely that those who visit LL are not rejoicing as the imminent Rapture cannot be delayed for much longer. Ny second and we will be with Jesus for ever as time is running out when poor little Israel has to be brought to repentance. First they have to endure Muslim attacks and Ezek 38,39 followed by the antichrist coming and all the horrors of Revelation until near the end they accept Jesus is their Messiah after all and ask him to return and save them, so ending the 7 year Trib. After that the land receives the former and latter rains together to make the war torn earth productive again to feed new Israel during the 1k of Messiah’s rule with Messiah building the new Temple.
    🙂

  • It's well known that L&L and most of the folks who visit this blog do not agree with some of Rodney's interpretation of end time events. Still, his heart is in the right place and he scoures the Bible – a good example.

For some of the long-termers who remember the Mitchell years, Rodney it is true that you're starting to hog the airway's, Man. Just link to an article on your blog if you want to repeat the same point over and over. Thank you!

  • Nathan, wish I did not have to repeat myself so many times! In addition it does not look like people are dying to respond to the articles here, yet they come out of the woodwork to address my view! If people would only read the complete passage of Romans 11 as it pertains to the redemption of Israel, they would find understanding!

  • Anonymous, that is quite the twisted logic you have, however it is not biblical, the Holy Spirit will be poured out upon Israel prior to the Tribulation, that is a biblical fact, Israel will finish the job that the Church failed to accomplish in their embrace of the world and the lusts thereof in these Last Days!

  • Rodney, i love u dearly in the Lord, but i think it is in error that u "accuse" the church as not having finished the job…. where exactly is THAT pointed out in scripture? I agree about the timing of the latter rain but i thin u r putting ur own reason in there and not the greater vision in place by the Lord.

  • Susie, what I refer to is the Gospel being preached to all the world! Today the truth is being overshadowed by a false gospel, one of prosperity touted by those who embrace Replacement Theology as well as the "Name it and Claim it" brand! The Tribulation will bring the greatest harvest ever witnessed and that my sister is biblical!

"After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb"-Revelation 7:9,10.

"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest, and he said unto me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb"-Revelation 7:13,14.

  • O i see what you mean. 🙂
Btw… im not real familiar with the whole "name it and claim it" thing, but confessing scripture to the Lord in prayer is something i personally think draws us closer to Him.

  • Susie, I have been at this thing for quite a some time yet I can finally rejoice that questions have arisen and many are now seeing that Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, and Ezekiel 38/39 are one and the same battle in which the Lord God will be glorified! Praise God that understanding is being provided to those that seek it earnestly!

  • Rodney, well i have read those passages before, and i can only say that im not sure, but i am watching closely. Prophecy is awesome and i love learning it, but honestly, i focus more on my spiritual closeness with our Lord and im not impressed with some of the things that have been said lately here …. and im not talking about u. So i will read those again today and comment after. Thanks 🙂

  • Susie, I agree that we must focus on our relationship with the Lord! For me it is knowing whom I worship, the Word of God made flesh! The Lord communicates to us through his Word, after all it is his message to his creation, it holds our past, our present, and our future! We can rest confidently as his Spirit guides us into all truth and does show us things yet to come!

Prayer is also a very important part of this relationship as well the exercising of our faith in seeking the lost, reaching others for Christ. We must however be prepared to provide an answer to them concerning our faith, prophecy and its fulfillment provides a convincing argument for those willing to dismiss the Bible as a collection of fairytales!

I personally take comfort in knowing what to expect next as the divine plan of the Lord God is presented in the scriptures. The Lord does not leave us in the dark, he provides or equips his children with all we need, giving us peace in a time of trouble! I just happen to be one individual that rests in the assurance of salvation yet at the same time desires to see the redemption of Israel also take place and the restoration of all things!

People can mock my view concerning the scriptures, yet what they fail to grasp is that perhaps they dismiss what is currently proven to be true as it is unfolding before our eyes!

  • Rodney, i agree with u and i know we need to be educated on prophecy so we have an answer when questioned … its impossible for me to argue with u (or amc or doc or e.i.) because u guys seem to understand Gods grace more than others… by that i mean… if i am going to look to people to teach me anything…. they r going to be required to be spiritually mature. So, im reading those chapters now …

  • Well… i have a few thots, just kinda preliminary…. i will have to study more indepthly on the ezek chapters. But it doesnt seem to me that these are all prophecies pertaining to the same event. Psalm 83 i feel is a prayer against the nations bent on total distruction of israel in the ezek chapters. It seems to me that the distruction of damascus will be a separate event but im sure the timing will be very close. Just my opinion so far.

  • Rodney, o my gosh….. im sorry! I tried over and over to get to that site, but cant do it on my lil smart phone…. i dont have a pc…. and im not really computer savvy… so i didnt get to read ur blog statement. Any explaination directed to help me will need to be REAL simple with direction…. know what i mean? When people list endless explainations it does nothing to teach ir direct me to scriptural truth. (Not sayin u will do that)

  • Rodney, thank u! I will read and re-read prayerfully what u have told me. I got a question for ya, do u believe that the anti-christ will be an assyrian? (Sp?)

  • I believe the title Assyrian is designated to identify that he will be a declared enemy of the people of God! The AntiChrist has many titles, yet I believe he will come from the nation that modeled itself after Rome, that adopted its principals and its pagan perverted form of emperial Christianity! This nation also adopted the symbol of emperial Rome carried by their legions into battle (Eagle), in addition a Roman goddess welcomes all to its shores! I think you know what nation I am referencing. Daniel the Prophet identifies the AntiChrist will come from the people (offspring) that destroyed the Temple and the City Jerusalem, not the geographical location!

Where is the power and might of Rome best identified in modern times but the greatest commercial, political, and military power on the globe, the United States of America! Many scholars will disagree, however the occultic origins of this nation should aid in identifying its future also (Babylon) as seat of the AntiChrist!

  • Rodney, i willl consider ur insights. Altho at this point, i think im done with this website for a while at least. I have enjoyed talking with u and look forward to meeting u and ur family on the other side. Take care, love in Christ, susie

  • passage of Romans 11 as it pertains to the redemption of Israel, they would find understanding!”

Have you not thought that we have all thoroughly read Romans 11 as well as 9 & 10 —— and our understanding clearly does not accept what you are reading into it to fit your preconceived ideas. Man, that is SO insulting.

Context involves books, chapters and verses fore and aft, so stop cherry picking verses for what you want it to say – like you did with Kelley’s article.

Plain and simple Rodney, you are sincere, there’s no doubt, but sincerely WRONG! You are ignoring too many Scriptures that contradict your faulty stance on this! It bothers me that those with limited understanding on the subject are even bothering to consider your aberrations from truth and fact. Seriously Rodney, you are confused over this and in serious danger of confusing others. That’s not good man!

Did you ever stop to think that there are no comments because, on the whole, most agree with what the different articles say, its when there is either strong agreements, or even disagreement, that most make comments. I for one feel near desperation to answer yours and warn others off your rabbit trails into ‘Ramble Land’.

I have made it an issue for prayer. To prevent people falling for your
tediously repetitive, unbiblical ramblings. Indeed, I am hoping and praying that kind-hearted Susie will quickly see the folly of your insights. Sorry if that offends, but theres a price to pay for leading others astray – you need to remember that for your own sake.

  • Rodney, just because we have nearly 700 people a week visiting this blog, it doesn't mean they all have to comment. 🙂 I'm glad you feel you need to fill the silence at times, but teach on your own blog, and kick back and just enjoy being the student while here.

  • Nathan, your right, this is your ballgame, just too bad you are always out of the park. If I have been teaching here, I hope you have learned something! Seems to me, quite a few scholars are now realizing that perhaps their timeline of events needs a little retooling!

  • Rodney,

Keep it up. Keep posting. I still read them.

I'm not posting anymore myself these days but I still check in on what others are saying.

  • Billy, I understand where you are coming from, however my comments clash with the views and opinions of the staff of Lamb and Lion Ministries! It is their forum to be used to carry their particular interpretation of prophetic events, to challenge it will automatically warrant the visit of a horde of individuals defending their position!

I do like a challenge though, it is a blessing to watch them squirm as they attack my position on prophetic events yet provide no biblical proof in their defense! If they do not want to be held accountable for what they are teaching, then perhaps they should remove the comment section on this forum! Accountability is identified by the Apostle Paul as a primary function within the Church and that remains to this day!

  • I'm 100 percent behind you Rodney. Not 100 percent in agreement, of course, who can be. But 100 percent in favor of you having your say whether it is the L&L view or not.

I will be back in the mix myself sometime, I just need to be sure when I am I don't let anger affect my words. That is all that is holding me back for now.

    Keep it up!

  • I want to be clear … i didnt say i needed a break from the site because of rodney. I dont agree with some of his prophecy interpretations, but i also am strong in that i study for myself. I think i told u rodney that it was NOT because of u. It was cuz i need to do some studying and i am not thrilled about l&l doctrines on a couple non prophecy issues. Having said that, hi billy!! Hope u and ur family r well. God bless all my friends here at this site! That includes u anon! And thank u for ur kind words:)

  • Hi Susie,

Been missing you and the rest! I'm on a self imposed hiatus because I was letting my emotions get the better of me in my posts and was getting out of line and in a bad place. I hope to be a regular again soon.

Susie said "…and i am not thrilled about l&l doctrines on a couple non prophecy issues." I haven't been following all that close so I don't know exactly what that means but in general I've been there myself (not thrilled with L&L). But I guess there is no one that we won't find ourselves in disagreement with at times. That's another reason I look forward to the Rapture. Then the Lord Himself, THE Authority, will make it all clear and we won't have anymore need to wonder what is the truth on certain issues.

Having taken a break from L&L myself, I can say that it is a GOOD thing. Too much of anything, yes, even L&L, can be too much. So enjoy your break and change of pace. L&L will still be here when you come back.

  • Billy! Thanks for ur comment… i sure love all my friends here… and u r so right in saying .. we will not agree on everything… and that the precious author and finisher of our faith will soon set us all straight! 🙂 i very much appreciate ur kind words. And yes… i was beginning to stress over a few basic doctines that have come out over time that are not prophecy related. So i will completely stay away from commenting on those issues and stick to prophecy insights and then research myself.

Also, i wanted to tell all …. my brother has been healed from his cancer…. and my son has not had any recurrence of his pain issues that had put him in the hospital a while back!!!!
PRAISE BE TO YOU MY PRECIOUS LORD AND SAVIOR! i am SO eternally grateful for everyones prayers here….. a very strong bond that i have to u ….

  • Billy, thanks for the support! It can be hard to put our emotions in check when the adversary remains on a mission! It will be just fine though because, it is not by our own power that we continue to stand our ground and remain faithful to our calling!
