In the midst of a year of unprecedented upheaval throughout the world, a new voice in Bible prophecy has emerged coming out of Israel. Our guest this week on Christ in Prophecy blends a Jewish perspective as a Messianic follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for God’s prophetic Word. His name is Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel.
Life Living in Armageddon
Tim Moore: Amir, one of the many fascinating things about you is that your family lives on a hill overlooking the Valley of Armageddon.
Amir Tsarfati: That is correct.
Tim Moore: Does that cause you any concern from day to day?
Amir Tsarfati: Not at all! It brings me a lot of hope. The hope is that I will be out of here in the Rapture before all of that chaos is going to happen there. The Bible teaches that all of the armies of the world will gather there on their way to fight in Jerusalem. Jesus will then come back to put an end to Satan’s last attack and His feet will be standing on the Mount of Olives, per Zechariah 14. So, I look at Armageddon as a place that will become the culmination of confusion and rebellion.
I take comfort in the fact that I found the truth about Yeshua, thankfully. The efforts of the Enemy to confuse and accuse and to destroy and kill just amazes me all of the time.
Tim Moore: Yes, it amazes and saddens me as well that so many Jews have not embraced Yeshua as their Messiah, as you have. Amir, what would you say to those Jews who reject Christ? What is God’s provision for the Jewish people even through the period of the Tribulation that is coming?
Amir Tsarfati: I believe that Israel is God’s chosen people. He’s never ever changed His mind about them. I believe that they will finally understand that fact in the middle of the Tribulation. During the heat of the Tribulation, they will understand that the Antichrist is not the Messiah and that he is bad news. But, God had already prepared a place for the Jews to flee to from the Antichrist. God is going to provide for the Jews in the wilderness. Through all of that, I believe Israel is going to see the amazing, good hand of God.
But, Israel will not be saved unless Israel embraces the Messiah, and that occurs at the end of the Tribulation upon Jesus’ Second Coming. At that time the Jewish remnant will come to the end of themselves and, at last, realize that Jesus is the Messiah. My prayer is that they accept Him now so they will not have to live through all of this horror. I’m saying that to all non-Jews as well — accept Jesus now so you don’t have to be left behind at the Rapture.
I believe people underestimate the Tribulation. Therefore, every little thing that happens today, whether it’s the pandemic or fires or earthquakes, they immediately conclude that this is the Tribulation. They don’t have a clue! The Tribulation is going to be something that has never ever been seen or felt or experienced on planet Earth ever before. It will be a time of unprecedented horror.
And, when it comes to the Antichrist, people so easily jump the gun and name names and label political leaders living right now as the Antichrist. They don’t have a clue who this man is going to be. He gets his authority, his throne, and his whole dominion from the Dragon, the Bible says in Revelation 13. He will be indwelled by Satan himself and exercise the power of Satan. The Bible says that the whole world will worship him. There is not even a single political leader on planet earth today whom the whole world worships.
In the fourth and last part of this series with Amir Tsarfati about Messianic Jewish insights, he will teach us how to witness to a Jew.
