MP3: Rise Up, You Complacent Ones – The Message of Isaiah 32

In Part 1, we looked into the stunning global response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk in light of Isaiah 32. Now we’ll see how Isaiah contrasts the fate of God’s children with that of those who remain in rebellion against Him.
Princes Rule
Nathan Jones: Isaiah 32:1 begins, “Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice.” If you’re saved and you want to find yourself here in this passage, then look no further than the reference to the princes who will rule with justice. The Bible promises that those who are saved will, in their eternal glorified bodies, rule and reign with Jesus Christ. Not only does this apply to Christ’s Millennial Kingdom, but on into eternity. So, these princes and princesses will one day rule and reign over the earth under the rule of Jesus Christ.
What a promise! The God of the universe is not greedy. He doesn’t want to keep all the power to Himself, though He could. Evil entities such as Satan, being solely self-focused, engage in that. No, God shares His power and authority with all His children.
Just what that authority will look like, we’re not quite told. Who will comprise the nations that we read about in the Eternal State? Will God bring forth new creations with new beings? Again, we’re not told. But what we are told repeatedly throughout the Bible is that God’s children will serve the Lord and rule and reign with Him. And that’s meant to give those in this age who feel oppressed great hope for the future.
Look at the Christians today suffering in what are basically concentration camps in North Korea, or in Eritrea, or any of these nations hostile to Christianity. So many believers in Christ are forced into living in abject poverty. They’re outcasts in their own countries. They’re shut off from the financial systems. But, one day, Isaiah calls them princes who will rule with God in justice. How amazing!
Vic Batista: Revelation 1:5-6 echoes what Isaiah prophesied, “To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.” God’s faithful will become kings, rulers, and princes! How wonderful to live life with such knowledge about the glorious future that awaits us.
Matthew 5:6 says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Like the assassination of Charlie Kirk, so many tragedies have befallen the world as of late. There are wars and killings and so much death. So many horrible atrocities are being committed. You and I, along with millions of other people around the world, are hungering and thirsting for righteousness. We’re committed to making a positive difference in the world, especially in the face of all these tragedies unfolding. We long for the world to be ruled by Christ’s righteousness and so be filled.
Schemers Burn
Nathan Jones: Look at George Soros, a wicked 95-year-old Jewish man who during World War II betrayed his own people. He sold his fellow Jews out to the Nazis. Since stealing their wealth and now as a billionaire, Soros has messed with many countries’ financial systems and has collapsed them. Leftists call it philanthropy, but Soros funds everything evil under the sun, including open border policies that have flooded Western countries with millions of illegals. Soros and others like him are defined by Isaiah 32:7, “Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; he devises wicked plans to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaks justice.”
At 95 years old, it’s as if this evil old man will never die. And yet, one day soon, the Lord will return to defeat him and all those who’ve rebelled against God. They have never asked for Christ’s forgiveness and surrendered their lives to Jesus. The Bible foretells that their ultimate destination will be burning in the Lake of Fire. And so, justice will prevail. It doesn’t seem like we get justice now. Where’s the justice for Charlie Kirk? But we know that at the Great White Throne Judgment, just before the Eternal State commences, justice will finally come to all who practice evil.
Vic Batista: Isaiah 32 also talks about these schemes and schemers. Let’s discuss how technology is being utilized to that end. Technology can be fantastic. It has some great uses, but I must say, it is being used overwhelmingly to deceive people right now. It’s increasingly difficult to trust or believe anything online. Social media platforms often disseminate false narratives, so we must do our homework to determine what’s truly accurate or not. There are so many schemes and schemers out there right now that it’s just stunning!
Nathan Jones: Agreed. For example, concerning the use of technology for trickery, about a month ago, a video surfaced that presented a sermon by preacher and author Jonathan Cahn. The sermon was only given in audio, but it included some video decor, but not any real visuals of Cahn. The sermon passionately railed against the teaching of the Pre-trib Rapture. The video claimed that the Pre-Trib view was fundamentally flawed and that the Post-Trib Rapture was the only correct view. I was somewhat taken aback and was like, “Wait a minute, this is what Jonathan Cahn believes?” We’ve had Jonathan as a guest on our television program “Christ in Prophecy” many times. He’d never claimed he was a Post-tribber. In the video, “Cahn” went so far as to claim that Pre-tribbers were leading people straight to Hell with our teachings about the timing of the Rapture. What an insane accusation!
I went ahead and shared the video with some of the prophecy teachers in our circle. Mondo Gonzalez, the co-host of Prophecy Watchers, wrote back to me, also surprised. So, he wrote Jonathan Cahn, as he had just been a guest on Mondo’s program. Cahn replied that the video was, in fact, an AI-generated deepfake. He claims he has never given such a sermon, nor did he preach so venomously in support of the Post-trib Rapture.
I’ve got to tell you, the video was shockingly realistic. Both the voice and style of Cahn’s preaching were spot on. We’re still in the early phases of AI. Consider the deception that more advanced AI technology will possess. The deception will know no bounds!
So, yes, schemers have all new tools at their disposal with which to scheme. But, even so, in the end, the Lord will defeat them. These schemers will get their punishment, maybe not in this life, but upon their resurrection to face the Great White Throne Judgment, followed by their death sentences to Hell forever and ever. Knowing such a horrific future lies ahead should scare these people to repentance, but they merely scoff at this truth.
Hell will be the destiny for all who practice deception. You can only stand against the Lord for so long. There’s no plane of existence in between Heaven and Hell after this life here on earth. Either a person is for the Lord Jesus Christ or against Him. I know that sounds absolutist, but it’s true, because salvation is a binary state. You either have salvation or you don’t. And, if you don’t have it, then Hell awaits.
In Isaiah 32, we learn that the Lord will send an ultimate king who will finally defeat these evil schemers for their refusal to repent and turn to God. Even though some might not feel like they’re living in rebellion against God, if they haven’t surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, then yes, they remain standing in rebellion against God and are destined to burn in the Lake of Fire for all eternity.
Vic Batista: According to the signs of the end times, we believe that the stage is already set for the greatest schemer of all times to show up on the scene. The Antichrist will unleash his prophesied right-hand man, who will sow deception, as described in Revelation 13. This False Prophet will set up an image of the Beast—the Antichrist. This “living image” will be so convincing that people will not even be able to distinguish a lie from the truth.
And we see that such acceptance of deception is already taking place in our day and age. The world is unraveling right before our eyes. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit to provide you with discernment, then you, along with millions upon millions of people, are going to be swept away in the great Tribulation that is prophesied to destroy the earth.
Jesus warned in Matthew 24:24, “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” We live in such an age of deception that even the elect, meaning those who are saved, can fall for deception. We are already seeing so much deception happening in our time, which is preparing the way for this horrible evil that’s coming upon the world. These amazing signs of the end times indicate that the Tribulation is coming, but before that, the blessing of Christ will come to rapture His Church up to Heaven before He pours out His mighty wrath upon a scheming and deceitful world.
In the final Part 3 of this look into the global response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk in light of Isaiah 32, we’ll see how Isaiah calls the spiritually complacent into action.
