The Mighty Angels of Daniel 11: The Perfect King

MP3: The Mighty Angels of Daniel 11 Forebode
Hosts: Nathan Jones & Vic Batista

The Fallacy of Humanism

Vic Batista: Mankind doesn’t learn much from history, do we?

Nathan Jones: No, we do not.

Vic Batista: Each generation think that somehow we are smarter that the previous and are going to do things differently and so get better results. But, when fallen man tries to govern, there are always going to be negative issues, faults and failures, because humans are imperfect and therefore incapable of governing perfectly.

Nathan Jones: Excellent point! How interesting that the one group that tries the most to achieve a global government is the Humanists. Humanists believe that man is inherently good, and that if we just talk and reason together that we can come up with peaceful solutions. The whole backbone of the Obama Administration’s foreign policy was to just talk to the evil dictators of Iran and Libya and other oppressive regimes and work with them to discuss peace, and then somehow the bad guys would give up their naughty ways and everything would all work out just fine. What a flawed and failed process!

The Bible teaches that man is inherently sinful. We are evil to the core, and therefore, in need of a Savior. Put people together and release them to do whatever they desire to do and the end result will always be suffering and death. Therefore, this one-world government that so many lately clamor for so badly; it cannot possibly work. A global human government is doomed to failure. It cannot work because mankind is inherently evil and it will always fall back on satisfying their own basic lusts and evil desires. In the end, as the prophets foretell, a global human government will end up destroying everything.

Vic Batista: Therein lies the danger of power. If we grant an individual too much power then it ultimately often goes to their head. One of Satan’s corrupting avenues is pride. Look at Hitler and Mussolini and other would-be world emperors. We witness throughout history the same thing — absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Nathan Jones: The Founding Fathers of the United States were absolutely brilliant. Many were strong Christians who totally understood the need to reign in man’s impulses acted upon from their sin nature. So they created a system with three branches of government with an unspoken fourth branch — the Press — to keep our leaders accountable. Each branch would be a check and balance against the other so that no one person could become too powerful again like a king.

Unfortunately, we now live in a time period where Humanism is pushing out Christianity. The Humanists grow in power prodded along by their belief that mankind is inherently good and that it is morally okay to gain ultimate power over the populace. Representative Congress weakens. The Presidency and the Court systems strengthen.

People are not saying the word king, but that is what they really want. They want government to take care of them and fix all of our problems. They want a global government to stop the questionable Global Warming and to feed the people. These are all good things, but without Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit conquering our sin nature, mankind will never achieve a lasting beneficial monarchy. The Tribulation proves that to be true, because when God steps back and lets mankind rule on their own, we end up granting power to a world leader who will end up destroying the world.

The Perfect King

Nathan Jones: It takes Jesus Christ’s return to defeat the Antichrist and Satan and crush secular human government. The perfect Jesus will then set up His own perfect theocratic kingdom. When Jesus is King, personally ruling over all the earth, finally that is when the world will have peace, righteousness and justice across the entire planet.

Vic Batista: Hallelujah! I can’t wait. We believe that is coming soon.

Nathan Jones: Agreed, I too believe Jesus is coming very soon to rapture the Church. Jesus takes Christians off the planet and up to Heaven before the seven-year Tribulation begins. Some seven-plus years later Jesus comes back to set up His Millennial Kingdom over this planet for a thousand years. Jesus will rule and reign from Jerusalem. Nothing but peace, righteousness and justice will exist. Lives are extended to the hundreds of years. Animals are no longer dangerous anymore.

With Jesus in charge, peace will reign! The Bible says that the weapons of war will be turned into plowshares and pruning hooks. In other words, war will be nonexistent during the Millennial Kingdom. People just won’t train for war anymore. In contrast, the Antichrist seven-year reign ushers in nothing but war and death, which is clearly anti-Jesus. But, when Jesus Christ rules, there’s nothing but peace and righteousness.

Vic Batista: Excellent point! The prophecies contained in the book of Daniel prove that when all the people of this world elect a global president, they believe he can actually offer them all the wonders of peace without the Prince of Peace. Only a few years pass before the Tribulation inhabitants realize their mistake. Daniel 11:41-45 reveals the Antichrist’s throne stands in jeopardy by multiple rebellions as many of his subordinate kings will attempt to overthrow his sadistic tyranny. The whole world’s governmental system will begin to collapse as quickly as the people’s trust in their failed one-world leader.

The first segment of this series on the mighty angels of Daniel began with a tragic back story. In the seventy-third segment, we’ll ponder why Jordan escapes the Antichrist’s clutches.

  • I am 100% convince that Nathan Jones and Dr. Reagan along with the Christ in Prophecy crew are racist and have hate toward former President Barack Obama. You refuse to condemn anything that Donald Trump has done that makes this country look like fools to the world. I thought maybe it was the policies of the Obama administration but now I see that you have a problem with the man himself. In this article it was said: The whole backbone of the Obama Administration’s foreign policy was to just talk to the evil dictators of Iran and Libya and other oppressive regimes and work with them to discuss peace, and then somehow the bad guys would give up their naughty ways and everything would all work out just fine. What a flawed and failed process! Every US President has used DIPLOMACY (yes there is a name for it) to try to persuade peace not just the Obama Administration.

    • Lakysha, what does disagreeing with a person’s ideology have anything to do with race? We look at Obama and Trump and don’t see color, rather we just see people. Racists only see and judge people by color. What do you see?
