Fisher on Hebrews 10:25 – More Signs of the End Times

Gary Fisher

What are some of the amazing end times signs that point to Jesus’ soon return?

Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” That verse makes it clear that there are signs that we are to watch out for that will identify the season of the return of Jesus Christ. I’ve asked my old friend and Bible prophecy expert Gary Fisher of Lion of Judah Ministry if he believes that the signs of the times indicate that the season of the Lord’s return is upon us.

Sign of Lawlessness

Another end times sign that shows the condition of man Jesus referred to in Luke 17 is that man would descend into lawlessness. He said it would even be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot where man’s pleasure would be the most important thing to him. Even greater than truth, man would embrace his pleasure putting it to be the more important to him. That would lead man to descend into this lawless state resulting in wars, rebellion, strife, murder, homosexuality, pornography, divorce, child abuse, and adultery. Those are the very acts of lawlessness that we are experiencing in our society today. What do they mean, though? They mean that Jesus is coming soon. Today would be good with me.

Sign of Technology

Another end times sign is the boom of technology and travel. Daniel 12:4 says predicted that technology and travel would greatly increase in the times of the end. Who could dispute that we are living in the days of booming technology? With the advent of the computer almost everything is possible to man today, technologically speaking.

Think about travel. When Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden they could travel about say 25 miles an hour on the back of a good horse. That continued for thousands of years until fairly recently in the 1800’s when the steam engine was invented. On the back of that innovation then came the automobile and then the jet engine. Today we have gone from 25 miles an hour in the days of Adam and Eve to 25,000 miles an hour going into outer space. I would say definitely that travel and knowledge have greatly increased. Those are very clear signs that Jesus is coming soon.

Sign of Understanding Bible Prophecy

The interest and growing understanding of Bible prophecy is a sign. It is a sign that indicates that Jesus is coming soon.

What am I talking about? Daniel 12:4 and 9 both say that the knowledge and understanding of Bible prophecy would be understood more in the end times. In fact, God told Daniel something like, “Daniel, the book is sealed up until the time of the end.” And he said, “In the time of the end they will start to understand that.” In keeping with that principle, Bible prophecy was very, very rarely understood through the ages. Only a few individuals up until the Twentieth Century really contemplated Bible prophecy. But, in the end of the Twentieth century we started seeing books written about the founding of the State of Israel and all of these other different signs that I’ve reviewed so far. There are books showing up on the books shelves covering an understanding like never before of what God had to say about the end times. Today we’ve clearly got more of an understanding about Bible prophecy than any time in history. It’s a sign that Jesus is about to appear.

Sir Isaac Newton was a great scientist who lived from 1643-1727. He said this and I quote, “About the time of the end, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies of the Bible and insist on their literal interpretation in the midst of much clamor and opposition.” I would say that definitely describes our world today. The men who are preaching Bible prophecy are understanding it like never before.

In the last part of my interview with Gary Fisher concerning Hebrews 10:25, Gary will share the most potent sign that demonstrates conclusively that we’re living in the season of the Lord’s return.

  • I don't either Billy. I thought I had pulled up the wrong site until I caught a glimpse of your name.

Perhaps Anon, posted here by mistake? OR the cuckoo has come early this year!

    Maranatha – quick!

  • Hiding behind the Anon tag for good reason, it seems this Antichrist is trying to spread some more, old, and easily discredited Antichrist myth propaganda.

And God says "…and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a REASON of the hope that is in you…" 1 Peter 3:15

    …a REASON, NOT blind faith!

We have very solid, well documented evidences for trusting both the Word of God and His Son!

Obviously you caught the nuance of this anony-mouse post – it's too vague for me and by-passed me completely.
Why would I want to read internet theories when I can read the historically verifiable eyewitness accounts in The Bible?

Love and blessings to your wife!

  • Hello,I just read the comments,I added the link because the articles have information about Jesus in contemporary and past literature worldwide that are very interesting.Jesus has impressed not just Christians but non-Christians.They dont accept him as God but they accept him as a great man.
The Christian blog avraidire is mostly about why Islam is false from a non-Christian view but it also shows why Islam is false from a Christian view.

For example,Muslims often say Mohammed was a prophet ACCORDING to BIBLICAL standards. This article gives 2 undeniable reasons why it is false:

  • Anon, I am sorry if we misunderstood you!

We've always had more than our share of "Drive-by, Hit'n run" Anons that want to "enlighten" us & bring us up outta the Dark-Ages, from our "Medieval, mythical religion" by redirecting us to Anti-christian sites with multiple "…old, and easily discredited Antichrist myth propaganda"… ..but they never return to confirm or debate anything at all!

We've seen all the "Jesus Christ: SuperStar", "Jesus & Mary Magdalene love affair", etc., and so much more, ad nausium, to where we don't bother, unless 'something' very compelling comes up.

Thank you for returning and giving an explanation!

It also seriously helps if you pick a "name or alias" so when you post again, we'll sorta have a reference point of what level you are coming from, theologically speaking, and it also makes it seem a little more 'human' if we can put a pretend mug-shot on you!

And you'll still actually remain anonymous, after all, the "person" that created this blog has been doing it for yrs -["Nathan" is actually an "AI", the pix of him are photoshopped, and the man of mystery still remains at large…]!

Go "here" for a helpful hint on "how to".

This will also save you a little time too for any of your future posts.

  • Anon said "…They dont accept him as God but they accept him as a great man…"

That is also 1 of the greatest witnessing points to the lost 'moralist-intellectual'!

He said so many things about Himself, ALL having the attributes of Deity, being Pre-existant to Abraham, Omnipresent to both Nathanael [John 1:48] and Nicodemus [John 3:13], identifying Himself 'unmistakeably' as the "Lord" at the Final Judgment [22 "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord… 23…I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity."], that so many scholars have pointed out, time & time again, that He has to be either a Liar, Lunatic, or truly God, and cannot, even remotely, morally, be considered to be "a great man", "a great teacher", or "a great prophet" if that is not resolved!!!

  • Anonymous/avraidir/Brando/Minoria

Thank you for clarifying; and for your patience.:) Agreeing with DrNofog with many apologies for the misunderstanding and concur with your sentiments in this comment.

I responded to your latest post on the other thread before I saw this explanation.

    God bless you
