  • I attended the conference and loved every speaker. The speaker on apostasy was a bit overwhelming, but have a question to Nathan regarding what he called Word of faith movement. It's quite disturbing because I have believed we are supposed to be word of faith people, ie. walk by faith and speak the Word of God over our lives…are we not?

  • So glad to hear our conference was a blessing to you!

I covered technology as an end times sign, but Ron Rhodes covered apostasy and brought up the Word of Faith Movement. While all Christians need to be in the Word of God and in faith in Christ, the WoFM is a particular movement that believes they can place God under their control for their own purposes. It's really popular in third world countries where people make a meager living and desire to "name it and claim it" material wealth. It's the perfect example of apostasy today.

BOOK REVIEW To me, “Psalm 83: A New Discovery” by Alexander Zephyr is the eye opener and a real discovery of an ancient prophecy of Asaph. It is become ridiculously clear that Assur of this prophecy cannot be identified with such countries as Syria, Iraq or Turkey as many prophetic verses of the Bible have proven. When Zephyr uses the words of Isaiah, “Assyria will fall by no human sword; a sword, not of mortals, will devour them” (31:8), it is undeniably testifies that B. Salus, J. Richardson and the rest of the scholars who follow them are on the wrong path, because Syria (Isaiah 17), Turkey-Edom (Ezekiel 25:12-14), and Iraq (Daniel 11:40) will fall by the human sword. Another strong point in Zephyr’s argument is that Assur will fall in the land of Israel,”I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot” (Isaiah 14:25; Daniel 11:45), meanwhile Syria, Iraq, and Turkey will fall in their own native lands. I have always been fascinated with the Bible prophecies but have greatly confused by the sequences of events and its significance. This comprehensive book disseminated my doubtfulness by the author showing verifiable Scriptural proofs of the unfolding prophetic events with its sequence, time, geography, subject matter, and significance. I agree with the author not only on the matter of Assur identification, but also with Edom not to be the Palestinians and their refugee camps or people of southern Jordan, the importance of the kings of the north and south wars, which have to start first in order to facilitate the fulfillment of Psalm 83 prophecy, and many other things outline by Zephyr in his bold and amazing book. I thank him for revealing the Scriptural truth of Psalm 83 and happily recommend this book to any reader interesting in correct understanding of the unfolding prophetic future. Krystyna Davis
