The Mighty Angels of Revelation 20 and the Millennial Children

MP3: The Mighty Angels of Revelation 20
Hosts: Nathan Jones & Vic Batista

The Millennial Children

Nathan Jones: The Glorified Saints will live on earth ruling and reigning under Jesus over the Millennial Kingdom, but also teaching a new generation that is born during that time about their Lord and Savior.

Vic Batista: There will be a massive number of people born during the Millennial Kingdom, and they will have the opportunity to come to know Jesus as Savior as well.

Nathan Jones: Yes, just like in every other time period in human history, God provides people the free will to in faith choose Him and His salvation, or not.

We are now getting into the next section of Revelation 20:7-10 which will prove that humans are sinners no matter what environment they live in.

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Vic Batista: That’s a lot of people who will be deceived and rally to Satan. How could there be so many people when so few survived the Tribulation?

Remember that all who went through the First Resurrection will be dwelling in our glorified bodies, so of course then the sin nature will be gone. But, there will be children born to those saved Tribulation survivors who have entered the Millennial Kingdom in their earthly bodies. They will be the ones to have children and repopulate the earth. The population of the earth will become absolutely massive! Some theologians have estimated that 20 billion people could possibly be born by the end of the thousand years. Take away disease, sickness, and most death and the population will bloom exponentially.

Vic Batista: Also take into account the extended longevity of life, and that means many decades, if not centuries, for women to bear children.

Nathan Jones: Let’s say only a few thousand believers make it into the Millennial Kingdom, by the end of the thousand years due to no sickness and all of the reproduction, some 20 billion children could born to the Tribulation Saints. They, too, will have to choose Jesus or not, just like their parents did during the Tribulation. God has never intended for the opportunity for salvation to cease throughout each generation, that is until the thousand years are over, of course.

Vic Batista: I know there are different teachings in terms of who is going to make it into the Millennium, whether it’s just the Jewish remnant, or if Gentiles believers will be there as well. Regardless of nationality, we know for sure that there are going to be individuals who are going to survive the Tribulation and will live on into the Millennium in their natural bodies.

Nathan Jones: True, we know that at least the 144,000 Jewish evangelists who were protected by God through the Tribulation will live on into the Millennial Kingdom and have children. We read about how people from every tribe, tongue, and nation will come to Jesus as Savior. Surely some of them must survive the Tribulation as well.

I personally don’t think that it is just the Jewish people who will make it into the Millennial Kingdom, because Zechariah 8:23 says, “In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.'” That is a picture of the Millennial Kingdom. Zechariah shows that these other ten people are not Jewish, but they are Gentiles who live during the Millennial Kingdom. Therefore, I feel assured that there will be Gentiles living in the Millennial Kingdom along with the Jews.

Vic Batista: People born during the Millennial Kingdom, because they’re living in their natural bodies and so still have a sin nature, will still need salvation. They are going to be given every opportunity to repent, just like it’s been for us in the Church Age.

Nathan Jones: The Millennial Kingdom will be a fantastic time of salvation, for when these people come to know Jesus as Savior, they will actually get to personally see Jesus in Jerusalem. It won’t be like it is for us who place our faith in Him whom we cannot see. The Millennial Children will get to base their faith on Him whom they do see.

Vic Batista: What a beautiful and exciting passage! The Millennial Kingdom will be a wonderful age. It’s incredible to think that all the sickness and diseases that are on our planet right now, with children who are born with deformities and how hard that is for parents to have to endure, to know that the time is coming when much of sickness will be done away with.

Nathan Jones: Exactly! We are looking at a wonderful time when the curse will be partially lifted. I get so excited about the Millennial Kingdom because we see how corrupt our society is today and how messed up people are. The earth groans under mismanagement and environmental problems, and families are destroyed by strife. We have completely messed up our turn at governing the earth. But, during the Millennial Kingdom, Jesus as King will reign directly over His perfected, glorified people who will in turn rule over those in earthly bodies.

Preparing for the Promise

Vic Batista: And for those who don’t have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, I pray that all will come to know the Lord, even right now. One cannot enjoy the promises of Revelation 20 until we know Christ personally as our Savior.

Nathan Jones: The only way that we can have real hope for the future is if we’ve accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior, otherwise we are lost forever under the sentence of Hell. The Bible says we are dead in our trespasses and sins. But, we become spiritually alive if we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. When we ask Jesus to be our Savior we too can be saved from our sins, saved from the just judgment of Hell, and claim the bright future of reigning with Jesus Christ.

Vic Batista: The Bible says in John 3:16 that, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.” We can come to know the Lord right where are. Trust in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose from the dead in order to pay the price for your sins.

Nathan Jones: That the perfect and holy Son of God died for our sins by giving up His own life for us show us just how much God truly loves each and every one of us.

In the sixty-sixth segment of our series “The Mighty Angels of Revelation,” we will ponder why God will allow Satan to be released from prison.
