Joseph Smith: Founder of the Mormon Cult

PDF

The Mormon Church is the largest Christian cult in the world today, claiming a membership in excess of 10 million.1

It is a cult for many reasons, the most important being the fact that it proclaims a false Messiah. The Jesus of the Mormons is the brother of Lucifer, one of thousands of gods created by the super-god, Adam, an exalted man. The Mormon’s perverted concept of Jesus is just one of many demonic doctrines which the church inherited from its founder, Joseph Smith.2

Smith’s Origins

Joseph Smith (1805-1844) was born in Vermont and raised in upstate New York near a town called Palmyra. This was the heart of what came to be called “the burned-over district” because of its frequent and fervent Protestant revivals.3

Joseph Smith

Smith claimed that his first revelation from God came at the age of 14 on the Smith family farm. In subsequent encounters, Smith said that God revealed to him that all Christian groups since the death of the apostles had strayed from the true Church of Christ. He claimed that he was given the responsibility to restore the one and only true church.4

In later visions Smith claimed that he was led to tablets of gold stored in a nearby hillside. These tablets supposedly contained a history of the ancient inhabitants of North America. His “translations,” written in perfect King James English, were published in 1830 as the Book of Mormon. This book was to become the sacred scripture of Mormonism.

Smith’s Church

Smith formally founded his church — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints — shortly after the publication of his book. His “driving personality and immense personal charisma” resulted in explosive growth for the new church.5

Shortly after the establishment of the church, Smith moved to Kirtland Mills, Ohio, where he hoped to establish the kingdom of God on earth. A banking panic in 1837 caused the economic collapse of the Kirtland settlement, and this, together with spreading rumors of polygamy, caused many Mormons to leave the church. Smith headed west to Missouri. Within a year, a civil war broke out between Smith’s followers and their neighbors who feared their growing political might. The governor of Missouri ordered the Mormons to leave the state.

This time Smith and his flock headed east to Illinois. In 1839 they founded a new city called Nauvoo on the Mississippi River, near the city of Quincy. Within five years the city grew to nearly 20,000 residents. Once again, the rapid growth stirred suspicion and resentment among their neighbors. Opposition to the Mormons intensified as rumors of polygamy began to spread. (Polygamy was still a confidential tenet of the faith.)

Smith’s Martyrdom

In 1844 Smith announced that he was going to run for President of the United States. This announcement fueled a new wave of antagonism toward the Mormons. The climax came shortly thereafter when a newspaper controlled by Mormon dissenters revealed the church’s practice of polygamy. Smith was outraged over this revelation, and he ordered the destruction of the newspaper’s press. He was arrested for inciting a riot and was imprisoned in Carthage, Illinois. Before he could be tried, a mob broke into the jail and brutally killed both him and his brother.

The murder of the founder led to a split in the church. The majority rallied around Brigham Young who, as president of the church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, claimed to be Smith’s rightful successor. He soon led his followers west to Utah. Those who rejected Young’s leadership eventually formed the Reorganized Latter-Day Saints and selected Joseph Smith’s son as their leader. They remained in Missouri and claim to this day to be the true church.6

In the second part of this two-part series on Joseph Smith, we’ll look at his status as a failed prophet.

  • @Susie, good question! According to Romans 1, it would appear to depend on the heart condition. Many actually like being led astray, as Paul in 2 Timothy 4:3 reveals, "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Are there actually people seeking God with all their hearts and get led astray? Yes, certainly! For example, men like James Walker who was a Mormon priest for years, that is before he was presented the Gospel. And like James, Jesus will find a way to get those who are truly seeking Him the true Gospel as He promises in Revelation 3:20.

  • A "Christian cult" is at least a step up as I thought Mormons weren't Christians. Old dogs can learn new truths.(I am sure either the designation "Christian" will be dropped or this comment).

  • Hello Anonymous

The term 'christian cult' only means that the cult uses and abuses Christian teachings. It isn't a suggestion that they are actually Christian.

    Hello Nathan
The God Makers has a clip of my late ‘boss’ Eric Clarke in it; he was aiding Ed Decker in its making. Eric told me that Ed was deliberately poisoned while filming in Salt Lake City. It was nothing less than a miracle that he recovered. They had to depart in haste when The Mormon ‘heavies’ came after them; it was all extremely dodgy. It’s a dicey business exposing error.
    Maranatha!

  • Hello Nathan

There is one Doctrine that always makes my blood run cold which concerns ‘The Sin unto Death’ where God will refuse a believer to come again to repentance, who is in wilful rebellion against His word. Church members being forbidden to even pray for that person, or they too will be in rebellion against His direct command. Well my blood has just run cold after reading the following link named:

“The Church of England must take action against Rev Stephen Sizer”

    by Rev. Nick Howard.
    Dated 27thDecember 2011.

The word ‘racist’ probably brings to mind a skinhead with a snarling face. But this image can blind us to the presence of well-spoken racists in very respectable jobs, who can capitalise on their social status to inflict more serious long-term damage than their counterparts on the streets. A prime example of this is one of my fellow Anglicans, Rev Stephen Sizer, vicar of Christ Church Virginia Water. It hardly needs saying that I would only make such a serious charge on the basis of convincing evidence, and having already pursued the official means of complaint without success.

On October 4th Rev Sizer posted a link on his Facebook page to a website called ‘The Ugly Truth’. The website doesn’t even attempt to conceal its anti-Semitism. It recently greeted its visitors with the Jew-as-Dracula cartoon reproduced below…
…Jewish people have been characterised as metaphorical and literal blood-suckers for hundreds of years – and have frequently been slaughtered as a result. It’s not hard to see why ‘The Ugly Truth’ selected this cartoon to illustrate its vile scaremongering about ‘Global Zionism with its Exploitative Financial Institutions, National Debts and Permanent Wars’. But this cartoon is no one-off, as demonstrated by the other images below – which if anything are even more appalling.

The entire purpose of this website is to demonstrate that ‘Zionism [is] making our world uninhabitable today’. It charges the Jews with:

‘The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The daily murder of Palestinian children “for sport”.

Harvesting organs from Gentiles at gunpoint.

    Economic exploitation/ruination.

De-moralizing entire swaths of civilization through unchallenged Jewish domination of the media.

The complete corruption of every political office from the president to the town dog catcher.’

One article is simply titled, ‘God how I hate these people’. In response to a warning that the President of Iran is three months away from being able to fire a nuclear weapon at Israel, ‘The Ugly Truth’ says ‘Three months??? We have to wait THAT long??? Personally, It will be the best night of sleep I will have had in a long time, the moment when I know unequivocally that his “finger is on the button”. It will be the day wherein the seeds of peace are sown and the rest of us can breathe a little easier.’

  • The slick used car salesman Joel Osteen has chimed in on Romney's Mormon faith:

(CBS News) Pastor Joel Osteen, one of America's most popular religious figures, said on "CBS This Morning" that GOP candidate Mitt Romney believes in Jesus like he does.

"What I see about Governor Romney is that he says, 'I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, he's raised from the dead and he's my savior.' I see him as being a believer in Christ, like me."

Charlie Rose said, "That's enough for you?"

"That's enough for me," Osteen said. "There's differences in all religion. I realize Mormonism is different from Christianity, but you know what, he's a man of faith and values. And to me, that's strong."

  • Joel osteen…… hmmmm… glorified back patter. He has to be careful not to interrupt the flow into his bank account……… i cant help but wonder… is God upset with him? Or if he is saved, is this blatent sin already forgiven so…. no big deal kinda thing?!!??? It makes my stomach hurt just like the blog sue just wrote about the anti semetic.

  • That's the same Joel Osteen when asked by Larry King "Is Jesus the ONLY way to Heaven?" he responded "I don't know. I don't know. That's up to God to judge what is in there heart. It's not for me to say." (paraphrasing)

So Osteen's quote "I see him as being a believer in Christ, like me." is pretty wishy washy based on his own confusion over whether Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven.

I do think Osteen is right when he says "I realize Mormonism is different from Christianity, but you know what, he's a man of faith and values. And to me, that's strong." in the context of if the choice is Obama vs. Romney.

So, it's Obama, the "Christian", who is hostile to Israel, literally bows to the Arabs, reaches out to Jew haters like Ahkmedinijan, won't mention "the Creator" in the Declaration of Independence, covers up crosses in a church, proclaims "my Muslim faith…er, uh, oops, my Christian faith", isn't sworn in offically on a Bible, etc.

    or

Romney, whose religious ideas are skewed but who at least appears to be committed to Judeo-Christian values…

    well, duh…who gets my vote?

  • Anon…

Once again you have to take your comments to a ridiculous place.

No one is going to delete your post.

And no one ignores your posts. We read them and respond. So much for not being welcome to the discussion.

    Puhleez!

  • Hmmm,I don't know much about Osteen but from the info given here he doesn't seem to be a real Christian.Really.

Two things that convince me Christianity is true are:

The way the OT says it,Jeremiah is literally saying the Messiah would be Yahweh

    Read the argument here:

    http://www.avraidire.com/2010/04/the-ot-says-the-messiah-will-be-yahweh/

And the way the OT says it,it actually says the Name of the Messiah,or Joshua, which is Yeshua-Jesus

    http://www.avraidire.com/2010/04/the-old-testament-says-the-messiahs-name-is-yeshua-jesus/

  • @Sue, amen about Ed Decker! Interesting when one is approached about the lie they live in, they're more willing to harm you, even unto death, than see the world as it truly is. Isn't living in denial a form of insanity? If so, sin has truly made the world sick and insane. Especially when so called men of God like Sizer can believe all that nonsense about the Jews and then rejoice over the next coming Jewish holocaust.

  • Even the legion of demons (in the graveyard Jesus passes by) recognized Jesus as the Son of God.(they asked if He came to torture them before the appointed time)But Jesus put them in a herd of swine that ran off a cliff to their death. So recognition alone is not salvation. Of course I know the fallen angels can not receive salvation- but it just goes to say-Satan and his followers know who Jesus is. Self love and love of this world is idol worship even if you say I believe Jesus is the Son of God. Be very sure your profession also includes repentance and'go and sin no more'. The greatest sin being denying the Holy Divine Salvation and Sacrifice of our Lord.(also the legion of demons know they have a time when they will be punished) Makes you think, doesn't it? God Bless!

  • I can't help but wonder either, how does God look upon the people in all these blogs on this site that chew people up and spit them out. Real Christ like don't ya think. You people are brutal. Negativity!!!! That is what this church is all about. Founded in 1980? Right. By what authority?

  • Cult leaders and Cults:
I am always right, you are always wrong.
    The members are always (special)
    End justifies the means.
    Thought stopping language.
Leaders rise up out of nowhere.
Leader is charismatic, has all the answers.
Insist that those others are wrong, not our church.
Why can't Christians agree on anything the bible teaches?
Hmmmm, sounds like Mr. Reagan and the L and L church might be a cult.

  • Norm, you set up a straw man. No one is being hateful. They are pointing out the truth. Paul would have done the same thing (Acts 20:29-30).

Mormonism defines itself as Christian yet it draws from extra-biblical material to contradict fundamental truths found in the Bible. You can't have it both ways.

Those who point this out aren't being hateful – they're being truthful.

    rg

  • @Norm, some Christians can't agree because they interpret the Bible into whatever meaning appeals to them, rather than taking al literal interpretation and letting the text speak for itself.

RG's got it right. It's not unloving to point out blatent lies that will deceive a person and which keeps the saving Gospel from them. Let's never in the name of love "love" someone straight to Hell.

  • What makes you think your interpretation is correct?I know God can do all things. Why couldn't he bring forth a new scripture and a prophet? The bible prophecied all of this. I think you are decieved and follow a man (Mr. Reagan) who has made up his own interpretation of the truth. I love how Paul pointed out the truth and how Jesus pointed out the truth to the pharasees and saducees and they could not see it. Some day you will know the truth. Probably not in this life though because you follow this cult and man who made up his version in 1980. Just being loving and pointing out the truth to you. The book of Mormon came from God and testifies of Christ. It also testifies that God speaks to the people in the last days. It is the perfect companion to the Bible. Mormons are Christian no matter what you say and how you try to twist the truth. Christ came to this earth to fulfill the law and to be our Savior. He died for us and was resurrected so that we might live again. He will come and straighten all this out in the end. It won't be some man who comes out of obscurity in 1980 and decides he is the truth and the way and start his own cult of deciding what is true.

  • Norm

If a person wants to be ‘loved’, applauded and popular, then never speak the truth that is plainly written in Biblical Scripture. L&L love as God’s love instructs, which is to declare HIS Word on any given subject, in particular, deception. Too many in these dying days are setting up personal opinions instead of being obedient to the literal interpretation of the Word of God. The Apostle Paul was VERY direct, and pulled no punches in exposing those who think themselves teachers, yet know little of the commands of Christ Jesus. These operate out of changeable human emotions, dreams and visions, and extra Biblical ‘revelations’ falsely claiming them to be of the Holy Spirit because they seemingly ‘work’.

We are instructed to first love God; and to love Him is to keep His Commands.
2John 1:6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

Secondly, we are told to love one another, the brethren; and the only way that can be achieved is by keeping God’s commands in agreement, by each individual having the same mind of Christ.
1Cor 1:10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

This is where cults come from, the delusional arrogance of people who flaunt their own opinions and contradict the written command/Words in the Bible. It isn’t a question of L&L thinking themselves ‘right’; it is a question of them endeavouring to be obedient to every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Being non-denominational, they are being held accountable by brethren of a multitude of ‘Church’ backgrounds from around the globe, and not isolated to one tiny minority following a man who corrupts the literal, plain truth portrayed in the Old and New Testaments, such as the ilk of Joseph Smith do.

  • Norm

The term ‘Christian’ was given to the followers of Jesus Christ by non believers. There are very many professing ‘Christians’ in the world who live a ‘good life’ in the eyes of the world and one another. However that is quite separate to being a ‘believer’ in Christ alone, through Grace alone, through faith alone – forsaking all others, who cleave only to Him and His Word.

The Apostle Paul distinctly said that he had held nothing back from God’s Word.
Acts 20:27 “For I have not shunned to declare to you THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD”.
Yet Joseph Smith defied Paul’s statement and ADDED to God’s councel. To add or to remove from Gods word is an anathema. Rev.22:19.
Paul also warned us all about men like Joseph Smith.

Acts 20:29,30 "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to TO DRAW AWAY DISCIPLES AFTER THEMSELVES. i.e. Joseph Smith.

Dr. Reagan is declaring what the Bible itself says, plainly and simply, and if he ever dared to add or take from the Word, declaring his own version of events, he would have MY wrath upon him, let alone God’s wrath.

  • Norm…. seriously…. do u think God used to be human…. had sex with mary… had jesus… we r all siblings…. etc… etc…… really… like somehow God forgot to mention a hint of all that until here comes along joseph smith who gets all this BLASPHEMY as revelation??? That is so offensive. Study scripture and oray God leads u to the truth because its a dangerous place u r standing in believing all that heresy!!!!

  • Susie…. seriously the lds church never said that Heavenly Father had sex with Mary. Show me where an apostle or Prophet of the church said that. We believe in the virgin birth of Christ. That is not the doctrine of the church. Show me a standard work, handbook scripture or any other church ordained material that says that. I do believe you are my sister. And that "Heavenly Father is the Father of our spirits. Hebrews 4:15 God is a being of perfected passions and with feeling of our infirmaties. Genesis 1:27 All men and women, like Christ, are made in the image and likeness of God. Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect. Therefore we feel it is not heresy for the "Children of God to aspire to be like God. The spirit itself beareth witness that we are children of God and so forth as stated in Romans 8:14-17. C.S. Lewis also stated that "God" said in the bible that we were "gods" and that He is going to make good his words. We do not fully comprehend what all this means. The whole design of God is to lead us onward and upward. This in no way diminishes God the Eternal Father. What is the purpose of the term Heavenly Father than to tell us that we have a Father in Heaven who is God and loves us. John taught that through the divine purification process, we shall be like God. You and I do not see things as they really are. We see things as we are. Jesus Christ is the only way for us to partake of this process. Paul talked about the "mind of Christ" in 1 Corinthians 2:16. We become "joint heirs" with Christ to all that the Father has prepared for us who wait for him, who love him. What in the world does "Father in Heaven mean to you.? Yes, Paul did warn of people in the last days rising up and declaring the truth and as for adding to the word, I believe I have heard this over and over and I will look it up but if I remember right that comes from the book of Revelation which is not the last book written in the bible. If that were so then all the books of the bible that came forth after, would not be the word of God.

  • @Norm, there once was a man who was lost at sea, swimming frantically to survive. He spotted a ship on the horizon. Spotting the lost man in return, the ship's captain pulled the boat near and tossed the man a life preserver. The man only had to grab hold of that life preserver and he would be saved from imminent death. Instead, he called back across the waters to the captain and asked him if he had a square preserver instead. Or, how about a blue one? The captain yelled that preserver was all he had, and to grab it or die. The man pushed it away and swam on, looking for a life preserver that better appealed to him. Not much later, in exhaustion, the man finally died. That captain was like Jesus, and that man was like Joseph Smith.

Since Mormons are forbidden to read anything contrary to Mormon teaching and believe all of Christianity is apostate, that you're here with us means your looking for the truth. I pray you'll read the Gospel of John and find the genuine truth you're seeking.

  • @Norm… "there is no doubt that the idea of physical relations between God and Mary has been clearly advocated in the Church by such authorities as Brigham Young [1], Orson Pratt [2], Heber C. Kimball [3], Joseph F. Smith, [4], Joseph Fielding Smith [5], James E. Talmage [6], Melvin J. Ballard [7], J. Reuben Clark [8], Bruce R. McConkie [9], and Ezra Taft Benson [10]. Mormons believe that Christ was literally the Son of God in the flesh, and he was conceived in a natural, physical way according to eternal law." Here's the list of quotes under Appendix of these founding Mormons teaching God had sex with his "spirit daughter."

  • Norm

Deuteronomy 12:32 "Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.

Deuteronomy 4:2 You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Proverbs 30:6 Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

Regarding The Revelation. Jesus is the author of ALL Biblical Scripture. He IS the Word made flesh. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever Hebrews 13:8 he is ETERNAL God, creator of heaven and earth come in the flesh to be a substitute for the sins of the whole world.

John1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God. He was in the beginning WITH God. All things were made through Him, and WITHOUT HIM NOTHING WAS MADE THAT WAS MADE.
i.e. As the Eternal Son of God, the 2nd person of the Trinity, Jesus created EVERYTHING and that includes the angelic host, including Satan that JS claims as the brother of the Morman Jesus.

The Book of Mormon denies God’s Word that states in Acts 20:27that His Apostle, Paul, had informed us of ALL of God’s Counsel; meaning there was no more. So Joseph Smith was a liar.

Weaving a tale in and out of Bible verses based on the lies of Jacob Smith can only be a fairy tale because it has no foundation in facts or truth. It is forbidden to add or to take from the Canon of Scripture finalised and sealed 2000 + years ago. There is no new revelation from the God of the Bible. You are referring to the Jesus of Mormon myth; therefore Susie is NOT your sister because you refer to a DIFFERENT ‘father’ a different Jesus and a different Spirit. Similar does not equal same.

  • "When the Virgin Mary conceived the child Jesus, the Father had begotten Him in His own likeness. He was not begotten by the Holy Ghost. And who is the Father? He is the first of the human family… Jesus, our elder brother, was begotten in the flesh by the same character that was in the garden of Eden, and who is our Father in Heaven. Now remember from this time forth and forever, that Jesus Christ was not begotten by the Holy Ghost." (The Prophet Brigham Young, J.D., Vol. I, pp. 50-51)

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints proclaims that Jesus Christ is the Son of God in the most literal sense. The body in which He performed His mission in the flesh was fathered by that same Holy Being we worship as God, our Eternal Father. Jesus was not the son of Joseph, nor was He begotten by the Holy Ghost." (Encyclopedia of Mormonism, Vol. 2, p. 725, 1992; The Teachings of [The Prophet] Ezra Taft Benson, p. 7)

"Christ was begotten by an Immortal Father in the same way that mortal men are begotten by mortal fathers." (Apostle Bruce McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 546-547)

  • I've looked over the book of mormon at the lds site.

There is a book called moroni.

I'd add a c to the end of it.

  • Apparently this is one of those cut and paste sites. You might know how to cut and paste but you are decieved. What's even funnier is that the LDS church continues to grow leaps and bounds while you waste your time trying to divide which is one of satans tools. What is also funny is the LDS church is coming on so strong it probably keeps you up at night. Take a pill, a chill pill. Would it just be a slap in the face if Romney won, Harry Reid goes forward and then what. 2, oh no 2, helping to lead the country. God help us, the Mormons are taking over the world. Ha, just a little fun. Seriously, you will be in my prayers always that your eyes may see and ears may hear the truth and that your heart will soften. Maybe in the next life. Jesus said, Love one another. What is it about that you don't understand? That's in the bible, right? Yes, I do read the bible and the Book of Mormon. They compliment each other as a testiment of Jesus Christ. Just as the Old and New testiment. The problem is you have to have the spirit and pray for light. Without pride!!!!!
    Have a nice life.

  • Becky,

May YOUR eyes be opened to the truth.

The Bible says Jesus would return to Earth in the end times to save the remnant of Jews that call out to Him, not to America in the 1800s.

The entire mormon cult is based on a lie just from that fact alone.

  • Whatever Billy,
Is that your standard answer? Jesus will straighten this all out, and not some guy who decides to form a church in the 1980's.
By the way, how many people are joining your so called church. The Christian church of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is still growing strong, moving forward dispite renagades who claim to know it all.
    Your Christian friend!

  • Jesus in Matthew 24 told us by repetition that the most prolific end times sign would be the rise in false teachers and cults. That the Mormon "church" is growing isn't a testament to any truth they may possess, but that they're a living sign of the spiritual condition of these end times.

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." – 2 Timothy 4:3

And what do the Mormons want to hear? Answer, that they are gods. That's exactly what Satan said to tempt Eve in Genesis 3:5.

  • Becky said “…Jesus said, Love one another. What is it about that you don't understand? That's in the bible, right?…”

RIGHT! However ‘Love’ is NOT an emotional feeling or a ‘burning in the bosom’. Feelings are transitory and not to be trusted.
Jeremiah 7:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

Biblical Love means being obedient to God’s Word written ONLY in the Bible.

2John1:6 THIS IS LOVE, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the BEGININNING, you should walk in it.

1John2:4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
    5. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

1John 5:2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep HIS commandments.
3 For THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, that we keep HIS commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

Among these commandments Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father EXCEPT through ME.John 14:6.

That means the book of Mormon is another way, another truth and another life; as well as another Jesus, another gospel and another spirit. It is a cursed addition to the closed Canon of the Bible completed more than 2000 years ago with Paul being the last Apostle/Prophet!

  • Becky,

Lamb and Lion is a ministry proclaiming the soon return of Jesus Christ.

It is not a church. I have not "joined" anything in relation to Lamb & Lion. I have chosen to support it financially as best I can.

The fact is, I don't belong to any church. I believe in Jesus Christ as revealed via the Word of God in the OT/NT Christian Bible and have salvation in Jesus. When I die I will live eternally in a glorified body thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. I will not nor ever will be a god of any kind on this or any other planet. I held these beliefs long before I ever heard of Dr. Reagan.

Your "facts" on Lamb & Lion, Dr. Reagan and those of us who support the ministry are in error, as is your SO-CALLED Christian Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Perhaps you were led to this ministry by God to help open your eyes to the truth. I have prayed that will be the case.

  • That's right Billy!

Just think how long it would take for me to get to this non-existent Church being dreamed up. How wide is the Atlantic Ocean? A fair hop I think by boat or plane.

The universal Church of Jesus Christ is not made with bricks and mortar – we are all 'living stone' and have our citizenship in heaven.
No 'Temples' for us, Jesus is preparing a place for us in His Fathers House, and when the Church/Bride is complete, Jesus will catch us up into the air and off this present earth which will then be purged with Great Tribulation in readiness for the Israel to rule earth for 1000 years.

With Billy, I say 'amen' and also pray that our Triune God, Father Son and Holy Spirit, will open the eyes of your understanding and deliver you from the snare of the folwler, and set you free from this Mormom fantasy, this doctrine of demons. In Jesus wonderful Name.
