Introducing Lamb & Lion Ministries

The logo of Lamb & Lion Ministries displays the lamb and lion living peaceably together. Many people believe this symbolism comes from a verse in the Bible that says the lamb and lion will lie down together during the Millennium, but that is not true. First, there is no such verse. Yes, you heard me correctly — there is no such verse!

What then does the symbolism of the lamb and lion stand for? Well, I will tell you tomorrow. Today, as we start off a new year studying Bible prophecy together, I want to introduce you to the ministry that sponsors the articles on The Christ in Prophecy Journal — Lamb & Lion Ministries.

Lamb & Lion Ministries is a non-denominational, independent ministry. That means we are not affiliated with any particular church or denomination. Our purpose is not to convert people to any particular group, but rather, our purpose is to lift up Jesus as the only hope for this world and to proclaim that we are living in the season of His return to this earth.

Our ministry is controlled by a board of 22 trustees who come from a great variety of churches and denominations. What binds them together is faith in Jesus and a conviction that the signs of the time point to His soon return.

Because we are non-denominational, we go to a great variety of churches to speak and receive financial support from many different types of churches for which we are very thankful.

We specialize in the teaching of Bible prophecy with an emphasis on the Second Coming prophecies because we believe that the signs of the times clearly indicate that we are living in the season of the Lord’s return.

Our Outreach

We proclaim our message through a variety of methods. Our major outreach is our television program called Christ in Prophecy. It is available in millions of homes worldwide through a variety of Christian television networks, as well as online on our website on the Programs page and on the social network Tangle. We also audio podcast the show on iTunes via RSS.

Another method to proclaim our message is through our website at lamblion.com. There you will find a great variety of materials concerning every aspect of Bible prophecy. You can also use the website to send in questions to us. You see we have a full-time Web Minister by the name of Nathan Jones. He will personally respond to your questions there and through the comments section of our blog The Christ in Prophecy Journal and Facebook group.

Another means of outreach that we use is our bimonthly magazine called the Lamplighter. It is 20 pages long and each edition focuses on some major issue of Bible prophecy. You can arrange through our website to receive the magazine either electronically or by regular mail. We also produce many teaching videos and study materials like books and study guides. Again, you will find detailed information about many of these on our website and on our online Bible Prophecy Resource Center.

Our Message

And now, let me conclude the introductions with a special word to any person who might be reading this who has never received Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Politicians and philosophers do not have the answers to the world’s problems. The only hope for this world and for you is Jesus of Nazareth — the Son of God who came to this earth to die for your sins and mine. Your sins have separated you from God. Your only hope for reconciliation and life everlasting is to put your faith in God’s son Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus. There is nothing that you can do it earn it. But, you much reach out and you must receive it in faith. To do that I urge you to pray a simple prayer like this one:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I confess to you that I am a sinner and that I need a Savior. I repent of my sins and reach out to your son Jesus in faith accepting Him as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me, Father, and empower me through your Holy Spirit to live the rest of my life for you. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

If you prayed that prayer with me, please seek out a Bible-believing and Christ-exalting church where you can make a public profession of your faith and manifest that faith in Christian baptism.

  • Re: "Yes, you heard me correctly — there is no such verse!"

NO WAY! I know I read it – only I thought it mentioned a wolf instead of a lion. How can this be?

So I did a word search for "wolf" in the NIV Bible online and found…

    Isaiah 11:6
The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.

So true, it doesn't say LION and lamb but the imagery is basically the same (and a lion is mentioned). I'm just glad I found the verse above so now I know not all my memory chips in my brain have missing sectors 🙂

  • That is good.. had me going too. I always wondered why the name was backwards as I had it in my mind lion and lamb. I would have argued that one for sure… just shows how we have to be careful on the details.

    C in Salem

  • I am going to guess at the real meaning to this. these are both symbols of Jesus.. he was the Lamb slain and is the Lion of Judah. Am I close?

    C in Salem

  • its 65:25. some believe its the miilineum, others say the context is the new earth. i`m not sure which one it is. i believe you`re right c in salem. however, the isaiah passeges is LITERAL.

  • have you considered offering an online bible prophecy course? perhaps even at a seminary level and maybe even having it accredited? i`ll bet alot of people would take it. it would even be very useful for the lay person. just a thought.

  • Yeah I agree This blog is so wonderful. Just like Kim Clement Website. He is a self-proclaimed modern day prophet. His diverse and extemporaneous perspective has gained him notoriety that transcends culture, race and religion, placing him onto a world platform. Its mission is to reach the unreachable and touch the untouchable through a message of hope, enrichment and the healing of haunting memories. Check it, I am sure that you will love it.

    Abigail

  • i have a serious problem with "self proclaimed" modern "prophets" i believe in the gift of prophecy but the office of "prophets" and "apostles" are done away with and furthermore something doesnt sit right with kim clement. i dont know his doctrinal positions and i heard him preach prosperity. 2 major red flags. actually 4. red flags.

  • the 4 red flags, and i imagine nathan will agree, 1)dont know his doctrinal statement 2)preaches healing and prosperity 3)"self proclaimed" 4)calls himself a prophet

  • Enough of the "Kim Clement" plugs Abigail!!!

Just from your description I guarantee you I will never go to that site and if I did I'm 99% sure I wouldn't like it.

    Please don't mention it again.

  • accredited was just an idea. that is something i`ll definately check out, tho i`m not sure bout KJV only.i heard both jimmy DeYoung and chuck missler and tho i dont agree with all their positions they seem to be notable scholars.

  • I did a quick google on him the 1st time she mentioned him a couple of weeks ago. Definitely Galatians 1:6-7…
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another [heteros-of a different kind] gospel: 7 Which is not another…" [homos-of the same kind]. Hope the blinders fall off her eyes.

  • Abigail I have already notified you that Kim Clement is a false prophet. Clement is an ‘ear tickler’ and a deceiver. http://www.letusreason.org/Popteac14.htm

To be one of THE apostles Clement would have to be more than 2000 years old and have a N.T. name. THE Apostles had to be physically present to be witnesses of the death of Jesus and then see Him resurrected from the dead. The reason being that THE Apostles are the ‘foundation stones’ of the Church of Jesus Christ; we are in the rafters now, no need for ‘foundation stones’ up here!

  • Isn't Clement that guy who "prophesies" to celebrities and polititians?

I have to question a guy who is a self-proclaimed prophet. I could say I'm a self-proclaimed millionaire, but that doesn't make it so, does it?

In fact, I'm reading some of his "prophecies" now. So far, he's batting .000.

  • “It will begin to change over the season. And the Lord says as you enter into 2010 I will restore everything that the canker worm has taken away, everything that the grasshopper has stolen from you, God said this restoration shall manifest quicker than before. Therefore rejoice tonight, you are my portion, says the Lord!” – Kim Clement.

Let's just see how he does.

  • In fact, Clement said on Oct. 25, 2009: 'How is it that he (Obama) was the one who brought the truth out and this that took place, this corruption that was taking place, was not revealed by the journalists of this hour but by the President of the United States?' Why? Because this President sought the Lord, got onto his knees and prayed out for God's blessing upon the nation.”… God says, Your President shall have a great conversion in 2010 which will bring about changes to this nation and because I have spoken”

Let's watch this one real close. He's date-setting and naming names.
